Notice that both games scheduled for this evening potentially only need 1 frame to be completed. Imagine having bought tickets for that session months and months ago and been looking forward to it, and you end up seeing about 10 minutes play!
Surely a (second) recreation of the '85 final is on the cards with it being the 40th anniversary this year.
I’m Spartacus ha ha. That’s the way the cookie crumbles might stay in the bar for 9 minutes to protest although that’s enough time for Ronnie to win his one frame!!
On way back from Wembley yesterday I bought tickets for the 1pm sessions so seen a fair bit today already. Crucible is mint.

Wow, can you actually buy tickets pretty much on the day? For some reason I had it in my head that all sessions were sold out well in advance. What are they on about needing to move it to a big venue for then???
You have to keep your eyes peeled as they just pop up every now and then for example a few mins ago there was 3 odd tickets popped up for Chris Wakelin game at 10am in morning. Dear ones pop up all the time but these are the cheaper ones £80 cos quarter final £60 today. The first couple of rows usually outrageous prices cos hospitality packages mainly, but sometimes if a seat unoccupied there I may find myself gravitating there when I spy it.!!
£6 quid in doors for a pint of cider competitive as nearest pub to venue £6-55.

Shame it's not this stage that the venue goes down to 1 table. The table fitters could have had an early night.
Just an update on tonight’s events after a frame win ended proceedings on each table.
We were treated to impromptu sort of re run of a programme I’d never seen when they mentioned it think they said The Break or something.
They picked 3 random punters out of the crowd (obviously not me with a Haaland tee shirt on) to team up with 3 ex pros enter Ken Doherty, Dennis Taylor and Jimmy White crowd loved it and it was Comedy Central, very good I commend them didn’t just kick people out on the street and that.

It should be a classic between two great shot makers, so it probably will be a bore draw.
