Cant make the final as I have tickets for Bruce Springteen at the Coop, hopefully its the 3/4pm KO, so ET and penalties doesn't leave me pressed to get to the gig.

Unfortunately (bizarrely), the last Eurovision attracted a larger TV audience than the FA Cup Final, so that plays a part.

ITV will want the match to kick-off as late as possible (to enhance their advertising slots), so I suspect there will be a 4pm "compromise", unless the police insist on earlier.

Ah, but have you factored in Dr Who?! Lots of chatter online about a special episode needing to fit in before the singing and dancing and after the match (and ET, pens etc). It’s all going off amongst the Whovians.

The last time I'd seen the Eurovision was when I was still living at home as a teenager (and was obliged to). So more than five decades back. Last spring I was again obliged to, since I was with my brother and he was visiting friends that I did not know, and they wanted to watch the entire thing. If I'd known them, and not been with my brother, I would have made my excuse and left right at the beginning..
What a steaming pile of horseshit! It was, if anything, worse than I remembered. At least the last time I'd seen it there had been Sandie Shaw, who was quite sexy in a vaguely skanky sort of way.

Obvs planned with the Cup Final in mind but if this not a 1500 ko then a stink should be made.

Why the hell it hasn't been set already, I wrongly assumed there would be PL games on the Saturday.

Won't matter what time it kicks off when its played at the Wembley of the north. :-)
 
Anyone know what kind of allocation the two sides will actually get? Usually around 30k isn’t it? But I knows loads get given to sponsors etc
