Always thought it was the last game of the season.
Maybe skip the suits.I think we should recreate the Blues Brothers away day at Palace in 1990 for the final.
Imagine hundreds of suited up Blues walking down Wembley Way.
The media would be in meltdown.
If that could be organised back then (in fact how was it fcking organised?) I'm sure it can be done now.
All together now..."Everybody needs some body"

Ok fair enough, that’s still be your calculations 80 thousand mate, still 10 thousand short of full capacity btw.No, the FA’s “football community” get about 20,000 cup final tickets, clubs no more than 30,000 at best
Unlikely based on Sundays turn out.Does anyone think we might get more tickets for this, like pushing towards 36 or even 37 thousand.
And it's Eurovision later, the beeb are pushing for a 3pm startSurely this game has to be played Saturday 3pm as all the other games have been moved to suit the FA cup
Pity that I don’t have any scouse friends, they’d easily get me in, probably for freeIt's no problem getting a ticket if you have deep pockets. Live football tickets already selling them behind the goals for £300 each. Could do with our friends at the BBC reporting why genuine fans can't get tickets but this lot can sell them even before they are on sale to fans. Empty seats is easier to report on though.
They don’t. They take orders then see if they can access the tickets to honour the bookings![]()

seems to be plenty available here.... there was for the semi-final (which was evident on Sunday).
How the fuck do they get them so early?
Always thought it was 25k?31,500 allocation I think
We actually wanted Palace to win the cup that year!Maybe skip the suits.
Fedora and sunglasses to go with our City shirts.
Great memories of that day with the Palace fans.
We booked our usual Travelodge (Kings Cross Royal Scot), with cancellation option and a midday check in for £147.I see the Wembley hotels are bumping up prices to eye watering levels. I thought us playing a London based team would free up space so drop the prices, sadly not.
I once saw the Boss, in Crystal Palace park funnily enough. It went on for HOURS.Tbf even if it kicked off at 5 you would get back for the one of the many encores he will be playing :)
Many thanks. Our fan base, in general, are great but obviously have a few dickheads. We do create a good atmosphere so should be a good day. I agree about 1990 but when you are playing Utd with a ref from Brighton you don’t stand much chance! Big Mal still loved, by most, at Palace. He changed the whole culture of the club including nickname and colours. I must say we have got ourselves a very good manager and may struggle to hold on to him unfortunately.
I’ve seen him twice, his show is at least three hours. I don’t know how he does it.I once saw the Boss, in Crystal Palace park funnily enough. It went on for HOURS.
Football has a wide variety of fans as do our great club, not everyone falls into your definition of a great day. Families taking young children would like to be able to get them home at a reasonable time and couldn't give a fuck about you going on the piss in London afterwards.530 would be perfect
Watch City win the cup then make your way out into the summer evening in one of the world’s great cities, endless possibilities
530 is bad news of course if you wanna be tucked up in bed with your horlicks by half nine moaning about people swearing on the concourse but most people don’t
It was all over the Southportctid fanzine...Where are you hearing this? Would be a controversial decision by the club. But can see it happening…
It used to be. Until the Fa, in their infinite wisdom(!) slapped it right in a week before the end of the PL campaign.Always thought it was the last game of the season.
