Take my hand take my whole life too? What sort of shit is that?
I can’t help falling in love with you.

I knew that was sang traditionally by Sunderland and Hull fans but I’d never heard it associated with Palace before now.

Kudos to them though, it’s a quality display.

Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things but I really hope we don’t go with the tacky club issued flags again. Bar scarves would make a nice change.

There’s definitely something in having a large like minded group of city fans all in one section, who get the behind the team.

You could see it yesterday and on a smaller scale the Leicester game as well. Hopefully we can have something similar in the north stand (can’t see it)
I’m looking forward to the extended allocation for singers in the final. It should bake a real difference as it seemed to yesterday.

You could really hear/see that in the palace game. They had a big section behind the goal, full of people just singing all game. Where as villa had pretty much nothing. I hope it makes a big difference again

Think it may have been but the big day was the Blues Brothers away at Palace. Footage was used for The Firm starring Gary Oldman.
Wrong game. The Firm was released in 1989 and the Blues Brothers match was the 2-2 draw in May 1990. Footage for The Firm was from the 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park in December 1988.

Quality? I think it’s shite

I know the Holmesdale Fanatics aren’t everyone’s cup of tea - I’m not a fan of everything they do and even some Palace fans don’t like them - but their organisational skills can’t be faulted. They get it spot on at Wembley every time with that section behind the goal. A United fan at work was at the 2016 final and although United won, he said Palace fans bossed the atmosphere. We’ll have to be totally on our game to match them.

I can’t either. Too far down the line now. But you never know. The sight and the sound of the vocal City singing section at Wembley may have made the directors think about a large singing section on the new NSL2. Hopefully it’s not to late for the directors to reconsider?

How does that work with Wembley tickets ?
Can understand how they do it at Selhurst Park, but assume it needs some coordination with the help of CPFC to replicate it at Wembley...

I would guess it's similar to 1894 reserving a block of seats for our vocal fans. Palace probably do the same for their Fanatics

In terms of a Wembley display I think something like ticker tape or balloons would be the most visually impactful thing to do. I don’t think it would cost as much either.

Maybe we could copy something from the past

That looks great visually but it stank underneath it.
