Protest v Wolves

We definitely need to allocate lots of junior season tickets when the new stand opens in 26.

Increasing season tickets, particularly with the younger fans will help fill the ground more regularly and also give opportunities to those fans when it comes to going to Wembley.

It's only as you get older you think more about where your money is going. We have so many young fans who won't have been to Wembley very much and will fill it for semi finals.

The benefit to the club is considerable.

The fact Pep continues to talk about it gives me confidence. I can't see how Khaldoon can sit in front of the cameras post season and avoid the ticketing issues this time around. The club are going to have to do something significant in my opinion. The protests and negativity that exist currently will get worse if they don't.

Why are they trying to undermine this? I wonder if they discussed any of ‘their plans’ with their members or other groups?

they don't represent all City fans and mainly do fuck all for the rest of us no longer in a supporters club.

It’s think it’s fine to disagree with the statement, but why is an organisation like that doing it publicly. It’s bizarre and it undermines all the great work these groups have been doing.

On plenty of the big issues I’ve seen barely anything publicly from the OSC over the last couple of years.

Very true mate. Both our Directors and those fans currently hoarding season cards could do a lot to help tackle this issue.

Hopefully City Matters fans reps will succeed in their negotiations to slash the flexi-gold set up fees and increase the number of full season cards, with Blues who get behind the lads on a regular basis.
I really do hope City Matters succeed and I’m certain a big showing for Friday’s protest will help them.

An active and vocal fanbase displays to the club how concerned we are.

Practically jumped on the 1894 statement to try and grab the narrative, with a massive dose of do as I say not as I do. Wreaks of 1 person’s opinion or a pre planned response as they were probably aware of the letter

These OSC statements are getting embarrassing now, not even sure why I'm a member anymore as I jacked in going away games to save money, I certainly don't feel as though they are speaking for me

I'm hoping Khaldoon was sitting there looking completely pissed off and furious at the ticketing fiasco and fan disconnect.

Hello, Mr Soriano, Mr Wilson. Can you come into the office please......

Why is it always groups like this that take a stand and not the OSC or City Matters?
Because City Matters are in discussions with the club on this and are hopeful of getting further concessions.

And while 1984 have a reasonable mailing list, the other two groups are self-appointed spokespersons for the fans. No one even knows who these Trade Union Blues are.

They think the protests are winning concessions from the club but, having worked closely with the club for 4 years on CM, and Points of Blue before that, they'll do whatever they want.

There’s a fair bit of that going around mate. On the protest pics with the flag the other day I recognised Dante and possibly Nico. Nick Might have been on it but I couldn’t see the full image.

If City Matters can negotiate out or slash the set up fees for flexi-gold then there’s a partial solution as City link adult family members and kids in adjoining seats.

I know this might be unrepresentative but flexi-gold members tend to go to more games than full season card holders based on recent threads. I’m really glad those making 16+ games get upgraded to a full season card. I was saying something like that was needed for months.

There is a growing frustration amongst Bkues waiting for season cards and I’ve heard the term “bed blocking” several times to describe peole sitting on season cards (and rarely going) and not releasing them for other Blues. Obviously, there’s no guarantee City would re release those seats as season cards but they should.

Was the OSC approached to add their name to the letter as a joined up approach would be far stronger with everyone singing from the same hymn sheet than sniping at each other.

was on holiday for Leicester game but mate who had my ticket did join in the protest by staying on concourse, he said he bought a extra pint, so im thinking why should I miss out on 6 or 9 minutes of football that I have already paid for which does impact the team but stay on concourse buying another beer to put in clubs coffers? personally feel it would be better to do a mass boycott of spending money inside the stadium which directly impacts sales and puts pressure on the club from likes of Asahi by not hitting projected targets
