Sell your gig tickets and go to the match
Nope... The original plan before the dates changed was stay over in an hotel, and catch the Bournemouth game. Much as I love city the chance to see the Boss for the last time from good seats in an arena can't be missed. My Lads and their mate will have our tickets

18 days to go, yet here we are, no confirmation of ko time!

They really don't give a fuck about supporters.

We have the last home game v Bournemouth to arrange still. It could be brought forward or more likely put back.

For context, flexi gold holders have a 3.5 day window to secure the seat some 3 weeks before a home game is played. If you miss the deadline or unsure for whatever reason, if the game gets moved late on, tough shit. If you didn't book it in the 3.5 day window then they Club will not consider any late applications.

We are waiting on times / dates for 2 games that will be played within the next 3 weeks, 1 a Cup Final which is rather special don't you think.

All to please the TV companies and armchair fans, sod those who will pay a fortune to attend.

The funny thing is that it doesn’t matter who is in the final they could’ve published ko times ages ago

Should be a 3pm kick off on a Saturday the only change that should be considered is the change of venue depending on which 2 teams qualify.

There were four possible outcomes for the final, why the fuck TV and the FA couldn't have had this sorted weeks ago is beyond me. Surely the BBC would have known about Eurovision months ago so it couldn't have come as a shock to them could it? The FA Cup should be the last game of the season with a 3.00ko, no debate needed.

Looking at next season though it looks the same thing is happening as it's already been announced that the season ends on May 24. World Cup starts on June 11 so no way is the final next season being played May 31

No Trains in or out of Kings Cross on Sat 17th or 18th May on the East Coast Line, what should be 1hr 15mins direct from Newark or Retford is 3-4 hrs with 3 or 4 changes

Plus I'm guessing weekend of May 31st might be the Champions League final?

Like you say, it's a fucking joke that they haven't got a kick-off time sorted in advance of the semi-finals being played

Many thanks. Our fan base, in general, are great but obviously have a few dickheads. We do create a good atmosphere so should be a good day. I agree about 1990 but when you are playing Utd with a ref from Brighton you don’t stand much chance! Big Mal still loved, by most, at Palace. He changed the whole culture of the club including nickname and colours. I must say we have got ourselves a very good manager and may struggle to hold on to him unfortunately.
Allison gets a bad press from a lot of city fans due to his disastrous second spell between 79-80 . I personally blame chairman Swales more than him and it’s worth pointing out that he blooded 4 or 5 decent youngsters who played in the fa cup final in 81 when bond bought a few old heads ( which Allison stubbornly didn’t ! ) to help the youngsters develop . Bond apparently threatened to quit unless Swales signed Trevor Francis the following summer and it was a purchase that crippled the club as most of Allisons signings were cash brought in by selling others . Allison with mercer was great , very reminiscent of Clough/ Taylor at derby and forest . Neither of the two partnerships really flourished when they had to go it alone unfortunately.

I have Springsteen tickets for the following Tuesday and have been told that this will now clash with Bournmouth game. Gutted if correct to miss KDB last home game.
Where did you hear that mate?
So, Bournemouth now May 20th

Same for me. Is there a reason it can’t be on the Wednesday which gives a 4 day gap either side.

Just book the last one maybe? Not ideal but the way things will go for us it will ve a 6.00 pm kick off lol
The last one back is expensive. Book a cheaper, earlier, one because when everyone drops back on Euston after the match they just want you out of there and you can get on any train. Works every fucking time I've tried it. Well it has so far!

Anyone know if the club are likely to lay on a train direct to Wembley (seem to recall they ran one last year , maybe £90??).
You could do it yourself via birmingham moor street for £50/£60
Manchester to Birmingham New Street change to moor street then Chiltern line to Marylebone (stops at Wembley)

Nice mate. Enjoy.

We're Cunard and I can't for the life of me remember if they have BBC1. Surely they must.
I did find a photo last night of someone sharing the TV list from a couple of years ago and BBC1 is on there so I should be ok, if they have stuck with it.
Done the QM2 transatlantic myself, so be reassured if they haven't got the game on there'll be a nice string quartet or a napkin folding class for you to get stuck into instead ;)
