Don’t worry mate - my last away match was the 6th May 1985 Notts County away. It was supposed to be a promotion part, we lost 2-3.

Seen Springsteen many times , seen City 100s of times , unfortunately a choice to be made for this one if they clash and it’s Springsteen on this occasion for us .
Booked the Tuesday instead of the Saturday in the first place so it didn’t clash with a potential cup final as it was !

When you were young you stood next to the away fans right? I prefer Leeds Utd going mental compared to this lot. I think they Palace ultras with their face paint are cringeworthy but I want to know what to expect.

Remember that day. Bank Holiday Monday, sopossed to to be in work, got a right bollocking next day.
Coach load from the Clarence, first stop Manchester airport, this fella comes out of a unit on a forklift loaded with ale.
Stormed the pitch and dressing room after the game( not me).
Just remembered we'd been paying subs all season for that one.
Turned out well in the end. Great days.
