so why the fuck would VW make cars in Arkansas to create US jobs? May as well keep jobs in Wolfsburg and let the US buyer pay the tariff - do these people know how anything works?
What will China feel first? It looks like they'll just have tariff exemptions for US stuff they need. They reckon the shelves will be empty in two weeks, Walmart etc have warned Trump already, this is when the shit will hit the fan. Scott Bessent saying China will feel it first, what he doesn’t understand is how they rule that country, unlike the usa they’ll put any descent down rapidly, China will rinse America in this, the ar has only just begun.

Brexit -land delusional - you just have to believe harder and we will go back to better times
Until people like this look you in the eye and say, "I made a terrible mistake. I will rectify it by voting blue in the next election", I feel absolutely zero encouragement from stories like this.Had a chat with a republican today, back in Houston after about 6 weeks. He’s not MAGA, but was definitely in the “Trump is what we need” camp 6 weeks ago.
He was definitely ‘rocked’ and wavering today. Hopefully he’s a sign of the greater non MAGA republican populace. Seemed genuinely upset at the feedback from the rest of the world.

I doubt many would ever say it (Human nature being what it is)…but maybe enough of them would remedy it when it comes to voting Trump in for his 3rd term…Until people like this look you in the eye and say, "I made a terrible mistake. Put it this way: I will feel hope when Dax comes around. L-O-fuckety-L.
Or sending a shot across the bows. The WH saying that they were in cahoots with the Chinese made me laugh.Sounds like it was Amazon putting the feelers out in a way that could be denied if tango got upset about it.
I doubt it too. Which is why I have so little hope.I doubt many would ever say it (Human nature being what it is)…but maybe enough of them would remedy it when it comes to voting Trump in for his 3rd term…
He was the mouthpiece of a large bond trading outfit which lost people on 9/11 in WTC. It shows you that you don’t have to be smart to make it to the very top of American business…or you have to suppress any smarts you have to toe the bat-shit crazy line of Trump’s whims!Guys an idiot
Pardon me boy, is that a Chattanooga ID?Arkansas? I thought they were making them in Chattanooga?! That’s where the ID.4 is built.

As I said earlier somewhere.Any one who thought ‘Trump is what we need’ was either in a coma for Trump’s first term or is a complete moron.
My hope is that with the election majority being fairly slim, there are just enough people who voted for Trump who have buyers remorse. They might not admit it for loss of face, but they will feel it enough to change their vote.I doubt it too. Which is why I have so little hope.
The judgment of people who voted for Donald Trump and do not see or cannot admit the mistake they made cannot be trusted in any other endeavo(u)r, personal nor professional, IMO.
The MAGA government and courts will be spending the next four years doing their best to disenfranchise as many likely blue voters as they can whilst making it as difficult as possible to vote for those that aren’t disenfranchised. This means there will need to be a bigger swing than you might imagine. And that’s if there is another election because I strongly suspect there will be a huge effort to change the constitution to alter term lengths. They will also try to restrict as much oversight as they can making it easier for them to cheat. My hope is that with the election majority being fairly slim, there are just enough people who voted for Trump who have buyers remorse. What seemingly really struck home, was when I pointed out that the US had sided with North Korea and Russia on a UN resolution, all the while alienating strong NATO allies. I don’t think Fox News had advertised that fact.
Was chatting to a Californian floating voter earlier today. He is dead against what Trump is doing with DOGE and thinks that a lot of people who voted for him are starting to realise that what they're getting isn't what they voted for. He also said the average Trump voter is politically illiterate and likely voted in line with the prejudices that he tapped into during his campaign.Any one who thought ‘Trump is what we need’ was either in a coma for Trump’s first term or is a complete moron.
