The Anti Supporters Club

KP calling out Pep - "very little support from wider fanbase" What constitutes little? What was the threshold for it to be an adequate amount of support??

Richard's Masters - "gritted teeth" How you measure that other than your feeling? What quarters??

Seems like if one city fan objected to the above that's you categorising it as no one got behind Kev
I just don’t understand what you are moaning about. I have given a few examples and if you don’t like them then fair enough.

The weirdest development on this forum seems to be that you have to justify yourself if you love City.

Equal rights and justice for middle aged, straight white men.
Stop the oppression.
You see, you got my point. It hit me right between the eyes when I read the list. It hadn’t occurred to me until I saw it written down like that. :-)
Put me down for the march …… unfortunately I won’t be able to attend unless I get a wheelchair and that’s not gonna happen. *lol*

Broken record here....and its been said on this thread earlier....but if there was ever a time for a single, democratic, utterly independent, fan-controlled and fan-operated Supporters Trust, able to use the media, government (with all the regulatory discussion going on right now) to make our voice heard (at the least) and make meaningful impact (at the best)...it is now!

We can make all the noise we want, but the recipients have to be willing to listen and at present they appear to be turning a deaf one.
No price rises or freezeses should have been announced until any discussions had been finalised.

You see, I don't agree with this Col. It's what I'm talking about. Your idea are sensible ideas. But they're toothless, you're asking the club after sustained process to just be a little more open about how they're fucking us and their future plans for fucking us. I don't accept this now.

Here's what I want:

20% drop in GA ticket prices.
Commitment to maintain season ticket percentage of the ground.

That's it. Nothing complicated. I don't even particularly care about Viagogo and stuff like that, though it doesn't exactly make me happy.

I want City to ONLY makr £50m a year pure unadulterated profit and be affordable than make £75-80m a year and be unaffordable. In fact I'd rather watch City in non-league and be able to go than watch us win CLs on the telly.

You know the numbers yourself, what I propose there has almost no effect on them financially. They are making a specific choice in how they are changing the makeup of the attendees in the ground and I want to nip that shit in the bud before it becomes too late.
You're fine not to agree. I should have used the word "revise" rather than "review" so I agree that matchday prices need to be reduced significantly. The only slight quibble I'd have with your 20% reduction proposal is that if you take where I sit, the full adult ST price is £900, which equates to £47.37 per game. If we do operate a category pricing model then that should probably be more but we'll ignore that for the moment.

The full adult price for a single ticket is £73 in the highest price category in 109, which is currently 154% of the equivalent pro-rata price. Knock that £20 off and that's down to 120%, which is quite reasonable in my view. So your proposal works for that scenario.

For over-65 tickets however, that comparison is over 225%, as the pro-rata equivalent is £23.42 and the single ticket price is £53, so more than double. Even if you knock £10 off that £53 (as the concession ST price is half of the full price) it would be 84% dearer. Knocking the full £20 off would still mean it's 41% dearer and that's too much. To get to the same 20% premium, you'd have to price over-65 tickets at £28.10, which is nearly £25 less.

So I'd like to see a standard percentage premium, rather than an absolute reduction. I'd be OK with 20% all round but it should never be more than 25%.

Asking clubs to cap prices themselves is asking for charity and isn't ever going to work. It's a pipe dream.
Which is important because it points to this never being resolved and i want this to be resolved and not have the club dragged through the mud because of it.

This is objectively false. We're not asking for charity and numerous teams across all divisions including us have "won" now and in the past.

The leaflet being handed out on Friday before the match.

I'll find a picture of the previous leaflet for you.

Christ, i know i'm sticking my head in the lions mouth again here but that is a poorly written leaflet. I'm still no wiser as to what the issue(s) is.
I think it is saying:

1) Something about season ticket allocation vs capacity. Is it actually being reduced? Do you want it freezing, increasing? If so, to what?

2) Season ticket format: You don't want the Flexi gold scheme? You just want a single season ticket format?

3) Season ticket attendance. You don't want conditions on the season tickets?

So thats 3/3 issues on season tickets only?

I just wish you'd be upfront about who this is for tbh. (And get a better leavelt designer)

Never happen until Col gets off his arse and unites the fan groups

I know.
I'm actually not really against what it seems you want.
I'm frustrated that you (the supporters group) appear to be somewhat disjointed, unclear and disagreeable regarding it and this is coming across badly from my viewpoint The telly).

It is effectively an action for season ticket holders.
Thats but one of the issues.

The club seems to have a blind spot regarding the stadum and supporters. It does so well in other areas it is a bit of a surprise tbh.

I think the first leaflet was much better. I expect @jrb will post in when he has the time .

Nah, nastiness is celebrating the 10 game policy because it means Terry the Tout and Harry the Hoarder lose their side hustle and then dismissing genuine arguments against it by spinning everything back to Terry and Harry each time
The strange thing about your post is assuming my view and the OSC’s viewpoint are the same on this. More than half of the OSC Branches are overseas and so maximum flexibility is probably welcome to them. The alternative, like my Branch members have had to do many times, is pay £70 for a ticket allocated to you in South Stand L3.

When I was favouring the 10 game rule, I assumed the overwhelming majority of Bluemoon season card holders would be able to comply. Part of the reason I assumed this to be was because posters didn’t say the 10 game flexi-gold requirement was arduous. If anything f-gs we’re considered part-timers by some posters. Also, before this family I saw posts on here and wider socials from families struggling to get tickets together.

I can now see the 10 game rule is difficult for many including top Blues I’ve met like Moomba and Frank Sinatra. Match Day memberships tickets are very expensive in comparison. That and the need to sell 8k more seats is why I’ve gone off the 10 game rule a fair bit, although most people buying season cards should expect to attend most games. I’ve no idea what the OSC position is on this but like I said, I doubt they think it is wonderful.

I'm really not being funny with you.

If you don't know or understand the issues and what the fans are protesting about by now, there is no point in trying to explain them to you.

We're both wasting our time.

Think what you want to think.

The protest will go ahead with the support of 1000's of City fans, which is what's important, outside of the issues the fans are protesting about.
