It’s Quiet 20 - What is the Wirtz that could happen?

Wouldn’t be a second choice transfer this. A lot of teams looking at him and he’s had a great season in LaLiga. Would be him or Costa.

Makes sense why the reports coming out of Portugal are Costa trying to close the deal as we’ve clearly (like always) looked at other players.

One important thing that Pep did in his time at City was - I was never envy of any other team in the world. I knew despite whatever media says or whatever awards other players win - we had the best 11 in the world.

Watching the semi-finals this time around- first time in a long while I felt a little jealous about Barcelona and PSG esp their midfield and attack.
The fluidness took me back to aguero Sane Sterling days and we don’t have that anymore.

Hopefully next season - we get our groove back and play a little more attacking then we normally do!

Lots coming through on my MSN homepage.
Either the interest is bang on, or these sites are all over Bluemoon.
Wirtz, Gibbs-White, Sera seem to be the main ones.

I think we should also recognise that the game in the Premier League has changed, and teams play very deeply and are often well-organised.
I'd agree that more variety in our play will suit us well to combat this.

We will never play like that whilst Haaland is up front though. Not saying we can’t get better and more dynamic in attack but the fluid movement and interchanging of front three positions you see at Barca and psg - like we used to play - won’t play to our strengths anymore.
