Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Did you miss yesterday's announcement?
No. I know there are going to be more STs available but they haven’t addressed the requirement for ST holders to have to personally attend 10 games. This will not be necessary if more STs are going to be available in the new stand built- & it should be ok for ST holders to use the exchange & F&F as often as they need - as long as their seat is not left empty.

I’ve had 2 STs for 30 years but my son has moved & is a 3 hour drive away. He can’t make most matches but I’m happy to keep buying his ST till he has sorted out a routine - but work, family commitments & the constant changing of game dates for TV makes it impossible to get here. But we ensure the ticket is used.

Have I missed an announcement on whether this 10+ requirement is going to be kicked into touch???

No the 10 game requirement still stands.

It’s really not an issue unless they bring in facial recognition, strongly link your accounts & upload ST’s to both phones or have a burner that can be passed about

I wonder what numbers we're looking at here. Are there maybe 1,000 season card holders who wouldn't meet the 10-game threshold? If the majority of these contact the club with their individual circumstances that's quite a lot of extra work for a not particularly efficient ticket office.
Obviously, I've no idea on the numbers but they wouldn't all be contacting the club at the same time so can't see an issue?

As long as the ticket is used I think you're covered.

Agreed but I won’t be able to use the exchange as often as I have been. I’ve basically got to take someone (F&F) with me 10 times using phone at turnstile to let them in. (I’ll have to download both tickets into my wallet - which is a pain.) Not even sure if I can have both tickets in one wallet??

The club have already contacted me. The person I spoke to sounded incredible sincere and referenced the original message taking a hard line. There are people with compassion within our club - not necessarily the ones in the boardroom, but if you present your case to the club, there are people who will listen and can help. It’s a shame a part of their job is now apologising for Soriano, it’s not their doing, but they’re the ones doing their best to help.

That’s good to hear. I just worry they’ll be given targets in the modern way - a certain percentage of appeals have to be rejected kind of thing

Very pleased with all the new changes.

Only thing left for me is the cityzen prices. Whilst I have a flexible gold, my wife and son have memberships. It’s silly money taking him to a game now unless it’s caraboa cup or fa cup games
Yeah same, happy to fight the cause if there was other areas but I am unsure what tonights protest is now for.

I re-read the announcement this morning and I think it is good although we have to wait until 2026-27 for a significant number of new seasoncards (at least 4,000). My question is how this will be organised e.g., a waiting-list.

It's good for me because I used to go with with my brother to all the games but he gave up his season ticket for a family, and has very rarely gone since. I am sure he would love to be able to come regularly again with his children. Over time, I hope City will harden the numbers and explain how they will prioritise the applications. A waiting list with deposits was used when we moved from Maine Rd I believe. That would seem reasonable?
Loyalty points must come into the criteria too so those with higher balances get first go if they wish.

Well we are waiting for the expansion which seems reasonable to me, with the added flexi gold coming on in between. Good question on the waiting list and hopefully it works off a points basis rather than the free for all we had with the silvers a few years ago. I think the news should be enough to stop protests.

When it comes to pricing out fans all you hear is it's not like that further down the leagues but it's happening, slowly but surley.

Sheffield Wednesday just realised their season tickets for next season... £570-£780 shocking

That's ~£25 to ~£34 per game which sounds cheap as the walk up cost in the real 4th division is often £20 for terrace admission.

The devil may be in the details, but really pleased the club has acknowledged that there needs to be some support bringing the next generation through.

The 10 game in person attendance is still something I'd like to see scrapped, and I think that is worth fighting for.

And that detail on new season tickets really needs to be seen before we declare this a win for the supporters.

But positive news.

Anyone know when they will release the 500+ new flexi golds? I missed out last year so am hoping to get one this time round. Was it end of may last year or June?

The Website is a heap of junk - My bank account name is 22 characters long- the form bank lookup accepts it, but press continue at the bottom and it fails telling me the payment page only accepts 18 characters.
Whoops.
I thought amateur hour had long gone at our club.
Sorted over the phone fairly quickly but I shouldn't have had to ring them.
