I have a mate who is a life long "Janner". I sympathised with him last week as they put up a good fight from a hopeless position they found themselves in a couple of months ago. However, he told me that they deserved their fate for their owners ridiculous distasterous appointment of Shrek that put them in an impossible position.
 
He'll take over from Amoron and lead the rags to heights greater than any football club has ever experienced. He'll jettison the deadwood and replace them all with teenage prodigy's from their much-heralded academy, thereby costing the rags nothing. He will then personally rebuild the swamp, brick by brick, into the biggest and grandest stadium the world has ever seen - 275 thousand capacity (full to the rafters every match game).
There will not be a trophy in the history of world football that the rags have not won several times, and all other Prem teams will refuse to play against the vermin for fear of being on the end of yet another 38-0 thrashing.

At this point the rags will awaken from their slumbers and realise it was all a dream. They will collectively sit down at their bowl of Aldi's own brand shredded wheat and read with horror the sports' back pages about how the rags have been forced to turn part-time and therefor their plastic club has now become non-league.

Meanwhile, in Downing Street, the newly-appointed first foreign prime minister in the UK, Pep Guardiola, has deemed it illegal not to refer to the rags as 'SCUM!'

apparently its a troop of gorilla's not a flange as a collective noun - someone writing a thesis saw or remembered this sketch and used it in a paper they were writing and it kinda was taken that was the correct term
