Labour won the last General Election and then took away the WFA payment. That is another fact. No opinion - A fact

How do you know what state the UK economy would have been in had we remained in the EU. You don't, you can have an opinion about it but you cannot know that for a fact.

Yes I hate politicians that lie... Labour/Conservatives and yes even Reform all of them. Sadly they all do in my opinion.

I cannot be certain but I believe there will be several factors that will be likely to have contributed to and influenced the current state of the UK economy, things like the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Liz Truss debacle for example to name but three and indeed leaving the EU itself. How would the UK economy be if they hadn't happened, you cannot know. How would the UK economy have fared with the Covid 19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Luz Truss debacle had we been in the EU? Again you cannot know but you can have an opinion.
Mine were " actual facts" but you're actually really very good at deflecting points you don't like, but:

The highlighted bit above that you so vehemently don't want to address are not my figures or my opinion. They are independent figures on what the effect of Brexit has been on the economy. They are as close to fact as is possible to know and appear to be undisputed (except in the land of Joe)

You are trying to make hay over some people losing £200-£300 per year whilst apparently having no negative view about the loss of £100bn per year. Most Reform voters would say, I know it's made us worse off but it's a price worth paying because we got our sovereignty back or I got a black passport out of it. You don't even appear to see it as a bad thing despite coming on here and moaning about how badly the country is doing. I wonder what the NHS in your beloved Wales would look like with a chunk of tht £100bn every year.

Amazingly, the politicians that you hate so much for lying but are prepared to vote for are the very ones that probably have cost the country the most.

Of course there are several factors that have led to where we are but the one enduring one that will continue to be a drag on the economy after C19, Truss and Putin, will be the Farage inspired Brexit that I suspect you actually voted for(just an opinion but I'm happy to be corrected) and now can't accept that it was a poor decision.

As James O' Brien would say, he has compassion for the conned but contempt for the conmen. You may have been in the former group but it's OK, as long as you don't make the same mistake again by believing the conmen.

We have to indulge them and we have to educate them. Calling them thick and insulting them is the reason we ended up with Brexit. We can't afford to make the same mistake again.

Anyone sponging needs to be punished and British people are the worse because there is a job out there for everyone but no one should be coming straight into this country and claim benefits aswell . I’ve always worked since I was 16 so never had an handout and I’m now 54 and would be ashamed to not work . As for orban and Putin well whether you like it or not he is loved by many in Hungary but he does like to play both sides and put Hungary first . As I’ve said you have your opinions and I have mine and that’s the beauty of forums .
 
I do vaguely remember this, and iirc it’s to do with the Poles but the difference is negligible (also iirc).
Solar panels need to receive enough energy from the electro magnetic spectrum so that an electron can cross the bandgap of (predominantly) silicon and move into the conduction zone. The ironic thing is that energy required is actually in the near infrared for silicon. As you go through higher frequencies of the visible light spectrum and UV spectrum, that additional energy is wasted as heat. The hotter solar panels get, the less efficient they are.
There is a lot more to it than that but the poster is factually incorrect with his statement.
With the cost of solar technology plummeting, it's an absolutely ridiculous thing for the poster to suggest it is not worth investing in solar farms.
The UK is ripe for harvesting from renewable energy technologies. They will not solve all our problems and we need to invest in nuclear. But, there is definitely a place for renewables in the UK.

What we have seen is the biggest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in history. That has led to the rise of Reform and other far right parties across Europe.

As for your facts, yes Labour won a majority, but it is built on sand, around 33% of the population voted for the party which I think is one of the lowest winning vote share ever for a Government. However it is one of the iniquities of our voting system that it happens like that. i think the last government to be elected with over 50% of the vote share was labour in 1945.

Taking away the WFA has been an absolute disaster as has been keeping the two child welfare cap. It has alienated many left wing thinking people who expected better of a Labour government.

You can have an opinion about the leaving the EU and what has ensued, it has also been further complicated by the daft deranged orange **** being elected in the USA. With hindsight leaving the EU and i thought we should btw looks a disaster not because of covid etc but because of the Orange faced lunatic. The UK is in a difficult place, we need the USA and we need the EU for trade purposes, where do we go though. The daft orange faced pricks tariffs are going to affect world trade and as we are alone we could suffer, as part of the EU we could face them down because we would be part of a bigger market despite my ideals of thinking the EU was nothing more than a club for Capitialist corporate enterprise designed to take advantage of the working class.

As a country we are at a crossroads and what has happened historically in many countries is that parties that have appealed to nationalism, patriotism, racism have prospored in times when the working class are suffering at the hands of their capitalist masters.

Marxists argue that fascism represents the last attempt of a ruling class (specifically, the capitalist bourgeoisie) to preserve its grip on power in the face of an imminent proletarian revolution. There will be no revolution in the UK because the left has been so ostracised by the media/establishment to such an extent that the Labour party is now a main stream centrist party extolling right wing values.

I saw a tweet on X today saying people like me are peado/grooming gang apologists, it was liked by loads of people and it disturbed me. Its a deliberate far right tactic to divide the working class on an issue that affects a small minority of people, of course it disgusts me that these gangs do it, but it is always a certain section of society that get the majority of the coverage whilst the larger section goes unreported and ignored. This vilification of certain ethnic groups only serves the likes of Reform's agenda which is i believe an ethno nationalistic state.

As for the Labour party, Starmer has to go, he has been a disaster, him Reeves and that **** Streeting can fuck off for me, i hate the cunts nearly as much as i hated the lying narcissistic **** Johnson.
