It’s worth around £65 million for them to get in the champions league, when you see them throwing money at players like Hoijland, Antony , Zirkzee, Ugart etc. They will need to qualify season after season to use that extra revenue to improve them, they’ve shown for over a decade they can’t consistently qualify for Europe’s top competition and that they also don’t know how to identify players who will improve them.

The 8 games they will have to play will stretch them from September to January. Their squad is terrible and doesn’t have any depth to rotate which will kill them in the Premier League. They were awful in the champions league last time, what’s to say they won’t be awful if they qualify this time.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the pair of them are back at the swamp for preseason training. There is better value elsewhere than buying rag cast offs.

Chelsea have guaranteed they will finish above 15th in the Premier League which automatically triggers an obligation to buy winger Jadon Sancho.

The Blues would pay between £20m and £25m to Manchester United for the on-loan attacker after beating Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

However, they have a £5m clause to get out of the deal and senior officials have privately refused to rule out using it to get out of signing Sancho permanently.

The 25 year old has three goals and 10 assists in 34 matches for Chelsea this season.

I think that causes them PSR problems as far as they need to shift players before buying....Sancho is toxic as hell so that wont be easy for starters and both will want CL football

They're broke financially can't spend without selling.
