We need a top RB and LB this summer imo. Khusanov, Rico or Akanji could do RB if required.
Problem from a fee perspective is forest paid £40m for him and they will be wanting a big uplift on that.
If he was an a academy player, I'm sure we could get him for a lot less than has been touted round.
Wolves also have 10% sell on.
Our only benefit money wise is due to the fact he only has 2 years left on his contract so Forest have a depreciating asset if he stays and doesn't renew his deal.

Funnily enough, had a few conversations with people over the last year or so, thinking it would be worth signing him.Do you see why city are interested in him tolmie? I must be missing something.
He can switch play very quickly and is very aggressive when it comes to contact and running.
Could see scoring quite a bit crashing the box and would be a very useful addition.
Too many people thinking he is the KDB replacement.

Nabeels tweet, also Darren who’s close with city players and Leverkusen players especially Wirtz. Said city just need to get champions league, asked if it’s about Wirtz and he said he used to be able to say but now can’t. Followed up that with the World Cup is massive decision to where Wirtz goes

Dont think anyone is certain mate yet but the signs are still positive that we at least havent walked or been told he wouldnt come?

A poor man's Alex Iwobi? I think you've used that phrase incorrectly. This would imply Alex Iwobi is better.He's had 30 games in the premier league in forest's best season in 30 years and has 12 total goals involvements. He has the same number of big chances created as Bernardo who everyone has watched play a whole season without passing forward (36th in the league).
He's basically a poor man's Alex iwobi.

But he's not a natural goal scorer and he doesn't create chances at a high rate and he doesn't drive past people and his pass accuracy isn't next level etc etc.Funnily enough, had a few conversations with people over the last year or so, thinking it would be worth signing him.

I've felt before he was replacing 3 players Bernardo and Gundogan but more Bernardo.Watching that though he has a bit of Bernardo, Gundogan and Kovacic about him like an amalgamation of the 3. Not saying as good as any of them yet but certainly with the abilities for Pep to work on and make as good over the next 2 years. No guarantees he reaches those levels but he could.
