Not a bad thing ahead of the Club World Cup. We will be better off having to be ‘on it’ to the end of the PL season so we’re peaking into that tournament.

Stranger things have happened, that's for sure ..... Southampton seem to have forgotten how to win, but it has been that kind of season ... could a pre-Wembley 'blip' , or slip, be in the offering for City?

The company accountants, players with sponsorship deals, people who will watch any old shite on sports TV and a few diehard fans. Most sane people will be rather underwhelmed by the whole manufactured affair.

Well I can't really say that i do .... but it WILL generate a lot of income , and especially if we go on to win it (up to 94m i believe) ......... so I can understand why City are so keen to participate in it.

No. It's wrong. Forest game tomorrow is their game in hand. They can still get to 69 even if they get beat tomorrow.

All the rest of the top six play a game against another top six club, two of them twice. I would say Forest losing tonight and City winning at the weekend pretty much seals it. Be on for second, I reckon.

Gonna be more important than domestic cups soon enough.
When that day comes, teams will be fighting very hard for it.

To that end, City (hopefully) will take it really seriously and try to win it as much as possible before the opportunity to get our names on it diminishes.
