Pathetic.
We're at the "player sponsored by a particular boot manufacturer" part of the deal already
Pathetic.
Pathetic.
It’s flat-out cheating, no matter how anyone tries to spin it. Adidas literally owning part of their club is insanely shady, reeks of corruption, and undermines any notion of fairness. How is that not cheating though? Asking German sponsors to help fund a transfer off the books. But ye they don't actually want to stop the big boys so if they can look the other way they will
The rags and Adidas did the same thing with Pogba for what was then a word record transfer fee (stop sniggering at the back). How is that not cheating though? Does his Dad actually have that much say or is it the narrative German media are just pumping out. I’ve not once read Wirtz wants to go to Bayern because x, y & z it’s always because of his father. The thing which bothers me about the wirtz transfer is the whole amount of input from his parents, i respect that he has to listen to them but on the flipside he is a grown man and its his career and if he did come to us the last thing we need is constant noise in the background that his dad is unhappy and trying to engineer a move to bayern or his mum is upset that he isnt playing where he should be playing, there seems to be quite the circus surrounding him.
I hope not and i hope its the media narrativeDoes his Dad actually have that much say or is it the narrative German media are just pumping out. I’ve not once read Wirtz wants to go to Bayern because x, y & z it’s always because of his father.
I guess you look at Haaland and how Alfie is involved with everything it’s probably a similar set up. But I wouldn’t say Alfie makes his decisions for him at all.
I’d say it’s all bollocksThe thing which bothers me about the wirtz transfer is the whole amount of input from his parents, i respect that he has to listen to them but on the flipside he is a grown man and its his career and if he did come to us the last thing we need is constant noise in the background that his dad is unhappy and trying to engineer a move to bayern or his mum is upset that he isnt playing where he should be playing, there seems to be quite the circus surrounding him.
It’s just a way of distancing the decision from him in case anything goes wrong.Does his Dad actually have that much say or is it the narrative German media are just pumping out. I’ve not once read Wirtz wants to go to Bayern because x, y & z it’s always because of his father.

If he wanted munich he could shut down all other avenues and then leverkusen have no leverage tbf.I’d say it’s all bollocks
It’s either made up or the family are using it to keep their options open and negotiate a good deal with whoever he goes to
If his family is as tight as they say (I suspect it is) then they will know exactly what his plans are and where he wants to go
they are his mum and dad, They will chat all the time. It’s not like they are all going to take a different stance on his next team.
Personally I think he wants Munich but is keeping the door open in case Leverkusen play hardball
And he may do that in the endIf he wanted munich he could shut down all other avenues and then leverkusen have no leverage tbf.
and theres alot of people trying to convince themselves that its Bayern Munich or bust as well. What would waiting for the season to end matter, bayern have already won the league, there is nothing left to fight for in that regard. And he may do that in the end
He may be waiting for the season to end or Munich to prove they can afford him
He’d be stupid to go public on a £100m plus deal
There’s a lot of people trying to convince themselves on here
How many £100m plus transfers do you recall happening in the middle of the season?and theres alot of people trying to convince themselves that its Bayern Munich or bust as well. I didnt see he should or would come out publicly, but you are saying that there is alot of people trying to convince themselves one way and your reasons show that you are trying to convince yourself that BM are the only game in town. How many £100m plus transfers do you recall happening in the middle of the season?
Here’s a few reasons he may want to wait.
1. Transfer window isn’t open yet
2. He needs to let leverkusen know his plans (ideally not disrespecting them before they play Dortmund )
3. Won’t want the fans getting on his back in the last home game
4. Needs to know if Leverkusen will do a deal with munich or if he has to wait out his contract
5. Needs to know what Munich will be winning to pay
6. Needs to know if Alonso is confirmed at madrid
7. Needs to see if city qualify for the champions league
he isn’t gonna come out publicly because a few people on bluemoon want him to
I’m saying he probably wants Munich but is keeping his options open re Madrid and cityI didnt see he should or would come out publicly, but you are saying that there is alot of people trying to convince themselves one way and your reasons show that you are trying to convince yourself that BM are the only game in town.
Hopefully he’s his own man.
