The thing which bothers me about the wirtz transfer is the whole amount of input from his parents, i respect that he has to listen to them but on the flipside he is a grown man and its his career and if he did come to us the last thing we need is constant noise in the background that his dad is unhappy and trying to engineer a move to bayern or his mum is upset that he isnt playing where he should be playing, there seems to be quite the circus surrounding him.
Does his Dad actually have that much say or is it the narrative German media are just pumping out. I guess you look at Haaland and how Alfie is involved with everything it’s probably a similar set up. But I wouldn’t say Alfie makes his decisions for him at all.

It’s either made up or the family are using it to keep their options open and negotiate a good deal with whoever he goes to
If his family is as tight as they say (I suspect it is) then they will know exactly what his plans are and where he wants to go
they are his mum and dad, They will chat all the time. It’s not like they are all going to take a different stance on his next team.
Personally I think he wants Munich but is keeping the door open in case Leverkusen play hardball

What chance have we got when he has his dad in his ear "Bayern Bayern " and his mother in his other year "stay stay" He be conflicted and in the end he will listen to his parents who have supported him all his life! He probably end up staying then going to Bayern next summer for a lot less! We will move on and I'd go for Riejnders stats wise he is close be 27 in few months so a mature player!
