I really believe that is where Bobb will ultimately end up playing. Maybe not for another season or 2 though.

Only those expecting loads of big name big money signings, not those just expecting us to sign the right players for Pep to build a new winning team.

A lot depends on who leaves but it wouldn't surprise me if we only brought in 3 players.

It looks like KdB is certain to leave, Walker and Phillips will no doubt go too, whether sold or on loan again. It might not be so easy to shift some others that are still in contract and on big money though and there can't be incomings without departures.

Problem we have mate is we have too many foreign players at the moment.

Cambiasso will replace the KDB foreign place, Costa the Ederson foreign place.

One of if not 2 of Bernardo, Gundogan and Nunes need to leave if we want to bring in another foreign player.

I don't think any of those players leave.

Gundo and Bernardo will just see out their last year.

I suspect that you are correct. Any idea when contracts for Kovacic, Ake, Grealish and Stones are up?

Stones next year. Ake 2027.

Both are HG so don't think they will be sold.

Kovacic 2027 but he will stay as a squad rotational player.

Grealish I think leaves regardless. The club will want his wages of the books.

Same with Bernardo. He only has one year left, but I think if Benfica offered up the £16m outstanding on his deal as a buyout, I think we sell him and break even on him. He doesn't owe us anything, but I think the club don't want a £300k a week footballer not being a regular.

Cambiaso can't take the KDB space as it doesn't create one.As it stands at the start of the window it's something like 21

Unfortunately,I think they really need to be. As well as being injury prone and on big money, we have far too many CBs at the moment.

Dias, Gvardiol, Akanji, Ake, Stones, Khusanov, Reis plus Bah, Doyle returning from loan.

9 for 2 positions is far too many even if a couple of them can cover other positions. I expect 2 or 3 will have to go out on loan and one or two to be sold, whether this Summer or next.

Walker and Philipps would be HG I think. Foden and Bobb too.

Last 3 wont be a factor for any serious time. Doyle is already pushing for a perm move.

The list is already full, they cant get on it, so NON HG list.
4 is the HG limit in the CL.
Foden, Bobb, Lewis and McAtee etc go into the 4 club trained.

This isn't true. They only have to have been at the club for 2 years (as opposed to 3 for a club trained player).

That being said, you are right that neither Reis nor Echeverri qualify for the B-list.
