I posted this before a few months ago,i sit with lads from Northwich and they said he moved house down that way last year,a small
thing for most of us,but the upheavel of moving from all you've ever known could be a factor in his decline, just a thought.

Moving house 20 miles down the road the reason he has dropped off so badly.

Come on mate.

If he has the serious health issues rumoured would the club not take him out of the limelight and seek medical help?

If this is down to form and desire then Foden's career is in serious trouble, he looks utterly lost, no motivation, passion gone and he has become a moaning weak character on the pitch, the drop off from previous levels is alarming to say the least.

Is Foden going to be our Rashford?
Come on man. Thats a bit dramatic rashford has been consistently crap for a few years now. Fodens had one season

Harsh but has any player had such a dramatic drop off?

I have heard the rumours of his health and if true have great sympathy but if it was the case would the club not take him away from the same and get serious treatment?

My biggest worry is he seems to have lost his love of the game, he is a street kid, who lived the dream playing for the club he loved but he is now a father with young kids, a multimillionaire and I do wonder if he has lost that hunger that made him such a special talent.

We have seen this type of scenario in many sports, especially boxing.

Whatever the issues are I hope he is nowhere near the Club WC and is given a full summer off away from football and I include Internationals in that.

I still blame Southgate. All went wrong when he was coached by him.

Phil needs a break that’s all

What I don't get is if he does have health issues, surely if he came out publicly and said he has had a health scare, the fanbase, the media and even other fans of other clubs would have great sympathy for him and support him and recognise that what he is going through is bigger than football.

At the moment, he is allowing everyone in the media and online to bury him into the sand by saying he is finished, destroying his confidence even more.

Some of our own fanbase is turning on him.

While it wasn’t a high bar at all, IMO he was better than any of the other forward players against Southampton. MacAtee, Haaland and KdB all worse. Not many of our players come out of that match with much/any credibility and you can extend it to the season. It’s been a shocker. Even in recent weeks we’ve got the results but the performances have not been that great. Nearly the whole team is well down on form. Physically and mentally drained.

He might not want the world to know he has a dicky tummy and the shits

We can't stop making excuses for the players we love.

David Silva had his baby born too early and was in difficult situation, yet he came back to perform like no other.

Yet, with Phil every day there is a new excuse for him.

The same Pharma company doesn’t invest that much for years. It’s not even possible with the 50+1 in Germany. They were called Vizekusen for a reason. So yes it’s astonishing. Going invincible is crazy enough. Dropping a striker in a final can happen to anyone especially at 20.
Why are you making excuses for him, but not Foden - Wirtz could only dream of getting 19 league goals from the same position. He plays in the same league Kev got 20 assists in, he’s at best managed 10.

KDB was 2-3 years older when getting this stats. Foden is 3 years older than Wirtz. Happy for Foden getting 19 goals. You could argue why Foden doesn’t get the same assists as Wirtz? Wirtz is a real 10 while Foden is a shoot first player. Also Wirtz has double figures in goals and assists after getting an ACL at the age of 19 while getting double figures in both again at the age of 21. did Foden do that?
Wirtz moving to an even better club might give him an even bigger boost.

Also a difference when you stink up a whole season than 1(!) game .

Another individual who seems to be a target.
This season, we have not been a properly functioning unit and other than Gvardiol and Marmoush, arguably, there has not been one player who has had a good season. O'Reilly and Khusanov have some license due to limited appearances.

If fans are willing to be so critical of a PL POTY after seven years of success because of one poor season plagued by injury and illness, we have lost the plot. Here is a player of 24 who has had 90 goal involvements in 128 starts, and that includes this season.

I believe that KDB leaving could allow some other players to flourish. That's no slight on Kev, he is a legend, but sometimes the old master moving on allows the protégé to fully bloom.

Perhaps the vile chants from the rags at the swamp about his mother has affected him.
If they have, then perhaps he needs to man up ffs. ‘Oooh someone sang some nasty words at me”. Do me a favour. Maybe he is a soft ****. After all, he’s had that pathetic hand strapping on for 2 years now.
