Official ones will be due soon so before they arrive, what's everyone's team of the year? Can only think of a single city player deserving of it this year.

This season more than usual though there has been a lot of standouts performing at lower sides that deserve recognition over just saying the obvious names, there's a lot of clubs that have had certain players carry them to their current position.

Sels
Munoz
Huijsen
Gabriel
Gvardiol
Caicedo
Rice
Rogers
Salah
Isak
Cunha

Salah winning player of the year.

Good choices but, and admittedly I’ve not watched alot of them, but I can’t recall hearing Caicedo’s name much at all this season.

With 21 league goals, I’d maybe consider Wood upfront.

I can honestly say I've never heard of the first 3 players

Good fair line up that.

Gravenberch instead of Rice.
Melinkovic has been excellent for forest at the back instead of Gabriel maybe.
I want to replace cunha...but no idea who with.

Munoz - Gvardiol - Melinkovic - Kerkez
J. Murphy - B. Guimareas - Mac Allister
Salah - Isak - Mbeumo
If there were a Most Improved Player award then Jacob Murphy would piss it this season, he's been playing at a level I simply did not believe he was capable of

Nah Rice is fully deserving of the spot for me. they'd be nowhere near second without him. Gravenberch has also played as the six rather than the 8 and unlike garth crooks and other "experts" I've put a team together in their actual positions rather than shoehorning a striker in midfield etc. If I was putting anybody else in midfield I'd be looking at baleba, guimaeres or tonali before gravenberch.

Melinkovic has been excellent, I was very close to putting him in but Gabriel hasn't put a foot wrong either and has been a huge goal threat too so gets the nod.

Cunha has to be in for me, he's pretty much kept wolves up, remember they were right in the mix with the relegated sides for a good portion of the season until he dragged them up the table. Been brilliant in a super shit side although I'll take it all back if he decides to drop down a level and go to the rags this summer.

Picking the Liverpool players was the hardest, it feels like they're one of the least watched teams in the league this season, probably because the leagues been a wrap since December and not because of any brilliance, just mediocrity everywhere else.

Feels like a year more have watched the teams scrapping for top 5.

I would include Dan Burns of Newcastle. Think he’s had a outstanding season.
