Best place/hotel to stay for the final, and best pubs to drink (not the Torch)

I’m coming down from Finchley Central on the Northern Line, then getting the Metropolitan Line to Wembley. Is there anywhere decent on the Metropolitan Line to stop for a few beers?

Looking for a Decent place in town to watch the final. Big screen, child-friendly(ish) and good vibes. Where are you lot who aren't going Wembley watching it?

no under 18's at freight island unfortunately.

Sorry, assumed it would be a family kind of thing.

Probably a child friendly pub then is your best bet. If it was me, I’d be looking at somewhere outside of town. Apart from Wetherspoons, you don’t really seem to see kids in pubs in town much.

I get that most people will be drinking away from Wembley, but have we been given a full list of pubs around the stadium that we are allocated? I can see that Palace have a full list of their pubs on their website, have City done something similar?

I can't be arsed getting trains around London and just want to drink and eat around the stadium.... Looking at eating in Ipanema, the burgers look ace!

Going to go with the tried and trusted. Staying in Holiday Inn Express Watford. Brekkie in Wetherspoons, Couple in O'neills then on to Harrow on the Hill. Normally go Wetherspoons or that bar on the corner opposite. Think its called Trinity. Also a Yates the other end of the street.
Just noticed a pub called the Royal Oak near to the station which I've not seen before. Anybody been? Looks quite decent. Just also stumbled across a boozer called The Junction around the corner from Trinitys bar which I've not noticed before as well

Hmm, you might want to jump out at Camden or Euston and pub crawl toward Marylebone/Baker Street. Trains go from there. Alternatively, there's a few boozers around Finchley Road on the Met Line which is one stop from Wembley.

I think City normally do send out the link for the pub allocation in fan information pack, which will just link to
should find the allocation on there but will post it below to save a click. I do think the allocations have been the same for years now apart from Box Park which seems pretty random

Our allocation is

There is more listed on that webpage that haven't been allocated that you will be able to go in but they will be mixed

Staying over in Ealing, will get a bite to eat in The Torch then head over to Wembley to start enjoying the atmosphere

The pubs on the East Side at Wembley are dire. You can take your chances in one of the “neutral” hotels. As you say most City fans will drink away from the stadium.

Won’t be at the game, but prob head to Mabel’s Tavern in between Euston and Kings X.
The rocket over the road is also ok, both have plenty of screens.
