That's Christopher Nolan for you. Can never hear dialogue in his films. He refuses to do post production audio dubs.

Warfare…..realistic watch
I thought the action was well done but I found the plot weak.
A group goes to do something that doesn't seem like it adds any real value and then another group has to rescue them. Lots of people being shot to bits to leave no man behind but what was the purpose of the mission at all if it wasn't adequately manned to begin with.

Not sure a plot was needed, was just the human interaction between comrades in a battle situation?

There wasn’t a plot - that was the point. It was a simple reflection of an actual mission.

Wasn't expecting it to be so graphic.
Thought it was just your average serial killer movie, but no. Body's getting cut up then having sex with the body parts.
Quite shocking.
Not a bad film though. True story.

Tin Soldier with Robert De Niro and Jamie Fox.
Somebody, somewhere, thought this would be a great movie to make.
God help em.

I'm happy to go on record saying that Robert De Niro is one of the worst actors I've ever seen. I wouldn't turn over the telly to watch anything he was in. Overrated ham.

He's not made a good film since Heat, and that was great thanks to Al Pacino.

A Complete Unknown

I was pleasantly surprised by how well Timothy Chalamet portrayed the young Bob Dylan. His vocals were really well done, sounding credibly like the young Bob Dylan without coming across as someone parodying him.

The film covers the period from Dylan arriving in New York up to the 1965 Newport folk festival when Dylan outraged the folk purists by going electric. Ed Norton does a good job as Pete Seeger, obviously proud of what his young protege is achieving while concerned about the folk movement being dragged towards rock and roll and having to try to calm the concerns of even more fanatical folk purists in the industry.

Regardless of your feelings on Bob, it's an enjoyable film that portrays well the early 60s folk scene of New York City.

I recently rewatched Heat and its not as good as remembered it, aside from a few scenes, very average.
