Florian Wirtz

Could be and I hope so. But parents (Florians agent), even Florian himself) coming might be a gesture of respect for City and Leverkusen. Bayer insisted on Wirtz and parents to at least try to see our arguments, walk around campus to see whether we can change their minds. And maybe we did or parents may now tell to Bayer that they really tried out of respect to them, but decision at the end belongs to Florian.
Nah, no need to show respect to City if not interested. Gains nothing to traipsing over to Manchester. If he came he’s interested.

That does make more sense than the rumour he met Liverpool and not city. Bit disappointing that they didn’t just fly over here to meet with us tbh.

Gut still says this is all posturing from wirtz camp to appease Bayer and he will still insist on going to Munich
and here we go, one journalists says it, then another, then another, its textbook as to how these rumours spread, so EVERYONE knew yesterday that they visited city and now EVERYONE knows today that he visited liverpool.

He’s coming home,
He’s coming home,
He’s coming,
Florian’s coming home.

To the Etihad,
To wear sky blue,
Pep made the call,
He knew what to do.
Now dreams are real,
The deal is done,
City’s got
Their chosen one.

He’s coming home,
He’s coming home,
He’s coming,

Florian’s coming home…
Enough with the drama…now shut up and sing with me.

He met with the chairman of Blackpool as well
Loves wearing orange and riding rollercoasters
But Bayern still confident

Don't be daft. The best players in the world will always have multiple suitors and it's up to each club to convince the player that they are the best option.

This has been the case with pretty much every single decent player we've had.
what i dont understand is why did the news of the city visit break yesterday but news of the liverpool one break today, why not altogether?

Also you are talking about potentially the british record transfer fee, its not a race you just enter without having done the groundwork first.

Reminds me when Erling went to loads of clubs when he was leaving Dortmund

whatever german journalist is claiming Wirtz wasnt in manchester but in fact in liverpool is telling one of the most insanely brazen lies and I don't know why? You could say "he also visited liverpool", but why lie and claim he wasn't in manchester when he very clearly was?

German media and journalists have been all over the place ngl

mine 2, it just doesnt stack up and the spread of it seems like one guy hedging and people repeating so as to not look like they are missing out.

Just seems a convenient way of piggybacking on previous coverage. Easy clicks. I'm sure Liverpool would have been in contact at some point, as will any of the wealthy clubs in the Premier League.

Lost track of who is and isn't reliable when it comes to German footballing media. I'm tempted to say none of them.

When we signed Haaland, his Dad, Alfie was in Barca for talks. He was pictured the same way Wirtz’ parents were yesterday. They are obviously just talking to every interested club before deciding.

My view is it will be Bayern but just doing the right thing by their son by checking out all other options first.
