Umm....there's a reason they're 16 points behind us with around 26 goal difference worse than us.

So many bottlers following our club it beggars belief, especially given our record breaking track record since Pep arrived and for the preceding period.

It's not a league game mate, league positions are irrelevant in cup football.

If we are going on the league games though, we've already failed to beat them once this season, 4 times in our last 8 meetings and drew to one of the worst sides in PL history on Saturday.

So it'd be a bit naive to say Palace don't have a chance.

On current form, I’d say they have a good chance

The Cup Final officials may have previously been posted, but just checked on them as part of my Cup Final build-up.
Got the Aussie on VAR. When he refs, Jarred seems to let the game flow as much as possible and lets the odd robust tackle and coming together go. But who knows if he applies the same logic and interpretation when he is on VAR duties.

Referee: Stuart Attwell (Birmingham FA)
Assistant Referees: Adam Nunn (Wiltshire FA) and Dan Robathan (Norfolk FA)
Fourth Official: Darren England (Sheffield & Hallamshire FA)
Reserve Assistant Referee: Craig Taylor (Staffordshire FA)
Video Assistant Referee: Jarred Gillett (Liverpool FA)
Support VAR: Michael Salisbury (Lancashire FA)
Assistant VAR: Darren Cann (Norfolk FA)

Attwell career stats...
Also reffed the 2023 Community Shield - City v Arsenal
Has given 3 straight red cards (a career-high, on low numbers) against City in 23 matches.
Let's hope Stu doesn't feel the need to make a name for himself on Saturday.
Gillett lets the game flow except when Haaland is in front of goal. And Atwell - you missed the game that every Bluemooner knows.

He has 3 reds v Forest in 9 games. 2 city reds were lockdown dead rubbers and the 3rd was 2011 in a game City won.

None on the reds cost us in key moments in games that mattered, so I would ignore that stat.

Cant wait for this actually

It's been a frustrating season and it's something to really look forward to.

I can feel it being a Watford type result.

Pep & the players need to jet wash last year's final away.

5-1 to us (90mins, not pens).
Hope your right but I can't see it being that easy. We're not that team this season. Although I am getting giddy with another visit to our Etihad in the south.
I will never get bored or take for granted our Man City getting to Wembley.
At 56 years old I waited to long. CTID

Out shopping today for our favourite crisps, snacks and drinks for the cooler bag. Only seems like last week we were doing the same preparations.
The season we've had I am so grateful for reaching the final AGAIN.
come on City bring the cup home.

It was time that somebody said that. By our standards, this has been a pretty poor season. It's produced some poor football, let's be honest (I'm thinking of horror shows like Feyenoord and both games against United, also the less-than-thrilling recent performance against Southampton; I could cite others).
We are on the brink of winning the F.A. Cup — possibly; and qualifying for the Champions League — possibly.
If those two things happen — and of course they may not — it'll be pretty remarkable. In any case, I have faith in this club, in the way it's broadly run, to improve our chances of a good next season over the summer.
