"And then one Satdee afternoon he took me to City's ticketing portal..."I'll be telling my grandkids about this battle one day, and of how the seat counters came home victorious!
That's exactly right - City are in the unique position of not having amassed waves of fans from this country or nearby countries, not being from London, but still routinely being successful. Well done all!On a serious note, for a fanbase that has been to Wembley as often as City over recent years including three FA cup finals in a row, to sell out at these scandalous prices is a phenomenal effort. We haven’t got endless amounts of hangers on like United and Liverpool to pick up the slack and we’re not a couple of tube stops away, so a lot of people have had to dig deep.
Got sidetracked at work for a bit so I missed the point that it sold out but pleased to see someone else take the glory on that!
Gutted you missed it mate.Got sidetracked at work for a bit so I missed the point that it sold out but pleased to see someone else take the glory on that!
Well done everyone - been an epic seat count this. If it wasn't for the fact that the FA lumber the finalists with thousands of extortionately priced Level 2 tickets these days - and the number of those seats appears to increase year on year - then this wouldn't have dragged on anywhere near as long. You could see that when batches of £175 tickets appeared over the past couple of days. Despite the high price of those, they still flew off the shelves.
That's an immense effortView attachment 156265
