Our squad this season was simply not deep enough to cope with all the demands.

And by deep, it's not only numbers but quality.

Its Foden that loses out if we sign Rodrygo. Additionally, one of Savihno or Doku would probably have to leave.

It's not about having an XI with them all in, it's a squad game.

At our zenith in the treble year we had Riyad Mahrez, Julian Alvarez, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden on the bench for a CL final.

That's the levels we need to get back to.

That’s literally one play too many. I’m sorry it’s too many players I can’t think of any system to fit all of them in

A) It's highly unlikely that we'll sign all (or even most of them).

B) We will have the flexibility to rotate players and change formations.

C) Players get injured/suspended, lose form or, for some reason, the move doesn't work out.

If we signed him, we’d have Marmoush, Doku, Savinho and Rodrygo who all prefer playing off the left. And that’s if Grealish leaves as well.

Of course keep in mind, that season is long and rotation will be heavy

Its like pep second season where we bought 4/5 big relatively young signings. We went on to win all after that...
