Similar to what I’ve heard from a lad I know. Got a few things right and not claiming to be in the know or anything but he’s adamant that the Wirtz family were really impressed with the facilities and the chat they had with City officials. He said he was 80% sure he was going to Bayern last week but asked him what he thinks now and he said he’s 80% sure he’ll be coming here.

Again, don’t shoot the messenger, just what I’ve heard.

Also, like Haaland could offer him a 3 year deal with a view to not standing in his way if he wants to join Bayern at a later stage. In the meantime, he might start to love the place and sign a 10 year deal down the line ha!

You said either Bayern or liverpool, so now it’s just Bayern is it.Just gibberish, we might not get him he might well go to Bayern. You really think we’d allow ourselves to be used by meeting his parents in Manchester without Levekeusen agreement first. Do you honestly believe we are that stupid and naive.

Nothing to do with us being stupid or nieve ...but do I believe people in tge world of huge business and in football are deceitful greedy and liars....absofuckinglutely

This^. Even if we don’t land the player it’s looking much more likely than it was last weekend when the German media told everyone it was a done deal to Bayern. Since then Leverkusen have pushed back, Wirtz family have been embarrassed by the story that they’d agreed a deal and Wirtz, his family and his agent have visited the CFA. We are in there fighting and our odds must have increased this week. Bayern are now the ones on the defensive and I’m guessing they’ll get more desperate now we seemingly have the upper hand.

Back in April, my source told me Wirtz to City was pretty much wrapped up — he was confident the player would end up here. At the time, there were still a few things that needed ironing out, and I assumed Champions League qualification might be one of them.

Then just last week, he followed up with fresh info on Reijnders — saying City had made a serious push and that the player had agreed to join, with the only thing left being the fee to be negotiated with Milan. In that same conversation, he reiterated that Wirtz to City felt inevitable, and that once the Champions League spot was confirmed, we’d have our man.

As I’ve always said though — I’ll do backflips when it’s all signed, sealed, and announced. Until then, I’m just watching it all unfold like the rest of you. Hopeful, but not counting any chickens just yet.

I believe there is huge deceit in the world of big business when there are literally 100's millions of pounds on the line....

Do I believe players/agents/family members play a big part in that - absolutely...and especially if it means earning more money from a deal like this.

i hope we get him - he would be my number 1 signing....but there is a long way to go first

We have to qualify for CL as if we dont all bets are off regarding trasnfers of this level of player.

Well I do care less, seeing you were the one complaining we were/are being shafted by a German club.As for the rest of your post I can only assume you`ve been in hiding for 100+ years as big business and tactical money making schemes go in any type of sector, always have always will.

Yeah, pretty similar to what I’ve heard too. He was actually adamant about Wirtz so, it gave me abit of confidence in it. Even started talking about house hunting in Cheshire already. Heard stuff about Reijnders and that we want to go all out for him and also MGW. Kinda shocked me when he said all 3, thought he was pulling my leg but he said all 3 are a go.

Heard Costa has already agreed to personal terms as Ederson’s agreed with Saudi Arabia already also.

Not heard much else apart from that Livramento is a genuine target too and we’ve put the feelers out for him and he was our first choice but Newcastle won’t budge on price, so it looks like we’re going for this Wesley instead which I’ve heard nothing of.

No doubt will be chatting to him again next week when it all changes again lmao.
