All seems a bit low key the build up to this final, or perhaps that is just my perception of it. Got a feeling Palace might nick it tomorrow unless we are really up for it. We will certainly be up against the media for this one plus I don't expect any refereeing favours either. Not that will be any different from the last 2 finals...Casemiro not being sent off in the first 10 minutes for a studs up lunge & their ridiculous penalty plus last year, foul on Haaland in first 2 minutes should have led to a pen & red card for them.
A trophy from this rather laboured & frustrating season would be an absolute bonus for us.
We needv the big players to really step up for this one

I dislike Atwell immensely. He did us over at Brighton in the PL in 2021 ( luckily we won it at a canter that season), some comments were made by people who know about dodgy reffing decisions and betting.

I am quite nervy about this one. I just think we have to be very wary of their speed merchants, plus our team be really on it. Pep might be making the right noises in the media today but he did prior to the Soton game. And we all know what happened there.

Hoping for the best tmw, I hope that 5-2 doesn't come back to bite us.

I still haven't got over last years shit show and letting the Rags into Europe. This can't happen again tomorrow.

BBC six o'clock news is Going big on crystal palace win, so I guess we know who the BBC are supporting tmrw.
Well, I mean, yeah. Palace are the underdog and the FA Cup prides itself on the underdogs doing well. Don't take it so personally. If fortunes we reversed and Palace had spent the last 15 years winning everything in sight and we were in with a chance of landing our first ever major trophy the BBC would be backing us. It's not much of a story if City win again, whereas a Palace win will go down alongside Wigan, Wimbledon, etc. as a proper shock.

Nail on head. Big players need to step up. Helps if the right team is picked but if it isn’t we still roar the boys on and am sure we will do it

Underdogs have done us twice at Wembley, Wigan and the rags

Joel Ward with a 95th minute bicycle kick to win it for the Mighty Palace you heard it here first :)

Usually when we’re in cup finals the team picks its fucking self. Now it doesn’t it could be fucking anyone, Pep could start fucking McAtee for all we know. I’d like to see:

Ederson
Nunes
Dias
Gvardiol
O’Reilly
Kovacic
Gundo
Kev (c)
Marmoush
Doku
Haaland
Best one so far - but Grealish for Doku, then bring him on for his 20 min cameo if needed.

Nice to hear bit of perspective.

I will wager you one Hollands potato and meat pie for 5 saveloys that you are wrong?

And yes, my bet is as ridiculous as your prediction :)
haha not a serious prediction of course :)

In all honesty I think either you'll streamroller us 4-0 or something or we'll win a close one ... absolutely bricking it right now

You come across as a decent sort mate, hope you have a great day tomorrow.

I hope we slaughter you but if your lot win you'd have deserved it:)
