Zidane is a 10 though and not a striker like rodrygo who is supposed to score . Grealish was a failure too

Wirtz will have spoken in some way to Bayern....either officially or unofficially.

He will be aware of what they are offering him

We also know Bayern want the player so will bid at some point

Im sure Bayern are confident of getting him (why wouldnt they be?) - plus they are arrogant enough to be confident on it

Id say that is a good sign

City as a club are known for keeping it pretty tight in recent years regarding transfers

And the players they are usually dealing with also seem to keep to this as well till pretty close to the end
 
Funny part is, if BM have to pay 150 million they will be broke for years and years. Plus legend aside, Vinnie is not a great manager in a farmers league.

Wirtz is not bad replacement for Rodrygo

Perez will be happy, replaced one star with another more marketable star.

They don’t likely have a buyer for Rodrygo. We aren’t buying Rodrygo to help them fund Wirtz. It’s a Bayern City battle and the German media is mudding the waters.

Nobody buying Rodrygo until well into the window.

He isn't a starter for Real Madrid at the moment yet they will still demand €100m. Any club with a bit of sense will wait towards the window shuts and hope he forces a move through and in the end Madrid buckle at around €75m/€80m.

Also the fact that the team who signs Rodrygo will likely be rival for the CL to Real Madrid, so no top team will want to give Real Madrid €100m to spend whilst there is plenty of time left in the window.
