Haaland is seen as one of the best strikers in the world by some. We have signed him to a 9.5 year contract and he makes more in a week than many will earn in 10 years. Hes paid handsomely to be our striker and take a penalty kick. It’s not his fault Marmoush missed. But it was his choice to not take it. Weak.
You have absolutely... and to stress... absolutely... no idea if he made that choice. Pep is usually pretty clear on who the designated penalty taker is, we've seen that before when Sterling tried to take one he wasn't supposed to.
You don't know who made the decision, so why dig a specific player out?
