Funniest aspect of the Henderson handball is VAR saying that Erling was going wide so it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity. Lads, how do you pretend to make that statement with a straight face.

Who was better than Doku? Three Palace fans I have spoken to all said Doku was our best player also…

Your in denial.

Every Palace defender. Bottom line is he's there to open them up and he failed. Don't get me wrong, it isn't all on him, it's a team game, but I am desperately disappointed in his output today. Whenever he runs at a defence it's like rolling a dice, just random.

Of course I do. Doku was attacking all afternoon, and if he hadn’t been double/treble marked he would have gone past his man a lot more often (not that he didn’t).
I thought he was just about our best player today, at least he looked a threat and was on the front foot.

Did far more than KDB, Bernardo, Omar and Haaland.

And as for that shitshow from Foden, he seems bereft of any of the skills that propelled him to the very top last season.

I've got tickets to one of the CWC games but I couldn't care less about that tournament. I'm sure Pep will treat it like a preseason friendly tournament and that's fine to me.

Didn't know there was a different criteria for determining the winner. They using xG next season? possession? Sideways passes?
We'll win the treble again.
My apologies, my post did not include the original post that I was responding to, which was whether we deserved to win. So I now understand your response and in hindsight my reply was out of order. Interestingly on BBC radio 606 last night a gooner phoned in to congratulate Palace, but he added that they played like an Italian team of the 1970s, and that their victory was not a good advertisement for the game. Needless to say his view was not shared by Chris Sutton et al.
