From the players that played today next season only Gvardiol (possibly Bernardo), Haaland, Foden(if he can get his form back) deserve to be in a starting 11...

Echevari is a prospect, Doku a decent squad player.

Huge questions on Sav, Dias, Akanji, Marmoush (not cause of quality but because of where does he fit in?)

Questions on whether OReilly can step up in his natural position

Done - KDB, Gundo, Grealish, Nunes - they all need to go.

Ederson looks like he will leave if rumours are to be true but Id get rid of Ortega first

Khusonov - looks decent BUT it has to be at centre half...Reis doesnt look physically ready

This is what we need to focus on instead of some arbitary decision and the performance of a goalkeeper doing his job

nunes should have played today, not long term solution agreed but akanji did nothing all game

Absolutely and when a team defends as well as they did there is not a lot you can do about
It's not peps fault or effort of the players , yes we've played better but we had chances , theur keeper made some great saves and they defended with their lives for 100 mins
All credit to palace, they came with a game plan and it worked
2 bigger cup finals to go, keep the faith and we'll be back
 
I am so fucking angry at the state of that performance. Fair play palace, great for a club to win their first trophy but just gave it to them. Walking about, no urgency, no shots from range, no fucking nothing.

And we're not getting 4 points on the next 2 games either. A fucking disgrace for the amount of capital that's been invested in that squad.

We had a penalty, something that plenty of people on this forum would have converted. Recruitment is the issue. No fullbacks, no back up for Rodders a ageing midfield and defence. Coupled with the manager only extending his contract to 2027. Extended that to 2030 will on its own make a huge difference.

And yet astonishingly we couldn't score - much like last week when we failed to score against the second worst team in PL history.
Sometimes it's not about how poor your opponent is, it's about how SHIT you've been yourselves.
Yeah a feckin awful decision didn't help, but we then failed to score a penalty because we fecked around over who should take it. Compounding it by creating one clear cut chance second half that fell to a young lad who got caught in two minds
 
Be really interesting to see the stats on the passes made forward, side and back. Be surprised if back doesn’t win. That match was void of any real quality. It was a terrible final, unless your Palace, of course

Well yeah, there's no point making selfless forward runs if you don't at least have a cross to back it up. No-one's going with Akanji and he showed the one time he did it today why. His cross ended up in row Z.
