A Trophyless Domestic Season

Don’t feel too bad as I have seen things I thought I would never see.

This season from the awful autumn things haven’t felt right and regrettably our style of play is a bit of a hard watch.

Novelty of not winning things may well wear off.

I believe this is the end of an era. We’ll always be good so long as our owners stay but we won’t dominate like we have done over the last decade. Pep will go in the next couple of years (or sooner) and won’t recover to the same level. This season isn’t a one off imo.

It was an amazing ride but all good things come to an end.

Only another year until normal protocol is thrown out of the window so the spectacle isn't ruined

United getting an actual trophy and CL football while we get dry bummed by Pep’s drunk uncle team selections, baffling tactics and VAR, what a time to be alive

We've not been good enough, and maybe it's a blessing not to win anything. There can be no getting away from the fact we need a proper overhaul, mostly clearing it out players badly on the slide. There's no trophies to paper over the cracks.

I'm ok with it as long as we get the right players and head back in the right direction.

Back to being the hunters instead of the hunted. Exciting times ahead, no matter how poor we have been.
