Genuinely I don't know who to start or even where to start...

Who deserves to play? Possibly Doku because he's the only one who looked like putting effort in today.

Ederson, Nunes, Kovacic, Doku, Marmoush...Those plus another 6 whoever they are...

May aswell give Echeverri a go along with Grealish and Nico Gonzalez...Can't be any worse than what we are watching.
 
In honesty, CL means fuck all to us other than potentially drawing players and the financial aspect. We are so far away from actually being competitive in it, it's nuts. What a fall off.

That said, stuffy 1-0 win please.

Issue with doku is he flourishes as an impact sub but like you said he's been one of the only positive parts recently so has to start. Id maybe give echeverri or bobb the right wing but have nunes providing the actual width so it's a bit more inverted. Gvardiol, Dias and akanji the other defenders with nico G and kovacic infront. It really shouldn't be kdb but it will be and then haaland. I'd have marmoush over kdb though and maybe even bernardo

If we don't get CL, current sponsors have clauses where they don't have to pay as much.

Some of the players will have pay cut clauses.

And your top elite targets don't want to come.

United have had a huge issue with all of these.

No guarantee of coming back straight away. It can take years.

Look at Chelsea, United and Spurs.

I always get bombarded with abuse on here when I say 'I can't wait until Bobb comes back". Bobb is head and shoulders above Savinho and Doku, Personally I'd love Grealish on the left and Bobb on the right.

We all know that won't happen so it has to be Doku, He worked his nuts off today although his end product is far from what we need right now.

We are short on centre backs and genuinely I'd love to see Khusanov back in the team, Watching Dias the last 8 months is making my eyes bleed. Akanji has been bobbins since he's returned from injury.

It's just a mess, So many players look like a shadow of themselves.

Other players stop taking responsibility when he is on the pitch and he can't do it anymore

Bournemouth will do exactly what palace did today

Lose this and next season is fucked as without CL the rebuild won't happen at the level it needs to.

I know how you feel, It's shit. I've said before this game that I couldn't give a rats arse about the Champions League places, The FA Cup was the one I wanted, I wanted us to win silverware.

So deflating.
 
Going to have to pick themselves up and put a fucking performance in on Tuesday, the momentum from the 5 match winning run truly gone.
 
I think I've lost my appetite for the season after today's disappointment, and i can't wait for it to be over now .... however we DO need that Champions League place, so we'll just have to keep battling til the end, as our rivals clearly aren't gonna be giving up.

We should have went away to Southampton and got the job done and Tuesday night would have been a relaxing night for us all and give KDB his send off, We rested players against Southampton and it backfired, Made it even worse today because we rested players for absolutely nothing seen as we've now lost the cup final.
 
these fuckers beat us at their place. Iraola wants to dick Pep again. and they had just had 10 days off since last game they played. expect very different approach from them than Palace or Soton.

actually can benefit us that now Lillo and Pep wont have full week to prepare for this match. WTF they both have been asking the team before Sotonn and Palace games in every day trainings?

Don't disagree. I want us to get CL, just find it hard to give a fuck about it.
