So many so called Blues who want to write Foden off after one down season in his career.

But then its the usual suspects who are in every players thread saying every player should be sold.

I'm sure he will be back and lets face it based on current form everyone should be sold bar Gvardiol, Marmoush and O'Reilly

He did OK when he came on I thought.
He's isn't playing well but no reason to start Savinho ahead of him.

I think Phils been found out for the player he is sadly. He seems to me to be the perfect example of a fair weather system player. Put a working KDB, Bernado, Gundo next to him while the system works he looks great - as we've found this year our tactics and players have been found out/dropped off a cliff and without doubt as did Phil - He's the same for England, he looks out of his depth, I didn't want to see/believe it before as Phil is one of our own and a blue etc but sometimes you have to look at players without blue tinted specs and when you do he's a very ordinary player who could be replaced easily (from this seasons performances) I think 1 more year is all the credit he has in the bank.

Quite cowardly performance yesterday I thought, taking the easy option every time by slipping a 5 yard pass to Akanji. Been awful the vast majority of this season aside from a very short lived revival at the turn of the year. God knows what is up with him, never runs with the ball at people anymore, rarely shoots...appears to be devoid of confidence. Started with England at the Euros last summer and carried through the whole year.

Another poor season in 25/26 and we are in big trouble

He looks shot to pieces, his confidence has gone, he shit out of a challenge yesterday, never looks to take a player on, its either a backwards or sideways pass, should be nowhere near the starting line up on current form.

I don't know what people expected him to do against a settled and growing in confidence Palace side with only minutes left of the game.

He was no worse than anyone else wearing blue yesterday. He's had a crap season by his standards, admittedly, but remember what his standards were like? Rather than getting on his back, we should be looking at why; is there an underlying injury, is Pep not letting him off his leash, is it a confidence issue?

The whole squad needs to spend the summer on the training pitch, not on their hols. Phil is no exception, there's just more focus on Phil because of the focus we all placed on him to begin with.

I think that’s nonsense tbf, he dragged us to the league title last season, was our only shining light, won us games on his own.

Somethings happened to him since last summer, rumours of health issues, mental issues and so on.
