Silly opinion, so what if it's overachieving? In fact I think top 5 or 6 is par for the season.
I suppose you didn't want Joe Royles overachievers to go up to the PL......."because we don't deserve it". Just get real. It's our team and should be your team before anything else.
The style of play and bizarre selections are something completely different.

Our position reflects the poor standard of the PL this season.

All of the woes of this season will be forgotten if they can get a win on Tuesday. Kind of feels important for the next phase of the rebuild. Don't care about how we play, how much possession we have - if we can grab a winner off someones backside that will do.

so we can beat Bratislave, Slavia Prague and Bruges again the drop off has been seismic

Most important game of the season.

The fans lucky enough to go to games need to play their part instead of sitting back waiting and hoping it hapiens

yesterday was the most important, i don't get excited for places in the league or money, as a fan, silverware is the barometer. I totally indifferent to getting in the champions league, i want to see a side that plays some attacking fluent football again, as opposed to one playing players out of sentiment. The only thing that is giving me a modicum of hope for the future is the return of Rodri

Like the rest of the season since we lost Rodders, this ain't gonna be an easy watch.
I think we'll win, but that's based more on Bournemouths 2 wins in 10 form. They don't concede many, so we'd better not go a goal down again Tuesday.
Sorry King Kev I know it's your last home game but I want to see you coming on with about 15 minutes left and the game sewn up please

Getting into the CL is part of rebuilding a side capable of winning trophies

must win, last home game, mess this up and I can see us going to play a lot on Thursdays next season. Pep never managed a side that wasnt in CL. it will be a bigger hit than his divorce.

Foden’s drop off has been seismic, I don’t know which team would want him if we put him on the transfer list.

He would look the worst player in the Southampton and Leicester team if he was in their squad this season.

Monumental fall off.

Not sure that even Champions League qualification would cover up, or deflect from the alarming cracks of our season 'Mr HJ', but we definitely need for it to happen to maintain our prolonged presence in that competition ..... and to help attract quality players here.
