Once yer have yer pie in yer 'and 'n a Bovril to swill it down pre-match yer'll be fine!
hope the club and players are hurting as much as i am, i hold my hands up, i have not slept, i am absolutely gutted, should know better as someone in my fifties, but City means everything to me, i feel like we have been mugged

Really is a must win game now. Dropped points here & it will impact the club for a few years. No champs football no elite players coming this summer

Not worried about us defensively. We are a pretty tight team now.

We have only conceded more than 1 in a game once in 10 games since the international break in March.

Gone are the days where we go into a game knowing we are 1-0 down before kick off

Its scoring goals. Got to rethink the forward line.

What I'd like to see: Ederson, Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O'reilly, Kovacic, Gonzalez, Echeverri, Doku, Grealish, Marmoush

What we'll get: Ederson, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, O'reilly, Kovacic, Bernardo, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Foden, Haaland

Huge game this, the players need to lift themselves after yesterday. I’d play some of the players who didn’t play at Wembley just to freshen it up a bit.

Ederson

Nunes
Dias
Gvardiol
O’Reilly

Gundogan
Gonzalez
Kovacic

Marmoush
Doku
Haaland

Deserve?

If he is fit enough he deserves a go cause none of outr other options are any good there
Foden out of position and our of form
Sav pretty awful at everything

Might as well try it
Yes. If he’s fit enough - he’s played a few games and shown some form then fair enough. But he hasn’t and hasn’t been fit for about a season now.

If Kova is fit enough, absolutely.

I'll be there cheering them on and saying goodbye to KDB.

I'm pondering this though; it might be Pep's last home game too. We can't go on with these fuckin' insipid displays from players who are only in the team out of blind loyalty to those players, and blind loyalty to a system which the manager can't get his chosen players to execute as they have in seasons past.

It doesn't matter that he's signed an extension to his contract; I suspect that Pep will walk if he doesn't get champs league football for next season. Yesterday threw up loads of questions which have been bubbling for a long time, not least around what's going on with Haaland. He didn't take the penalty yesterday presumably because his confidence is shot. Where does that leave the team; our main man, and highest paid player, and the manager responsible for him?

Roll on Tuesday against Bournemouth. 3 points needed as we can't afford to leave the next win until Fulham away - I wouldn't trust this squad to perform at all under more pressure. 3 points should make Champs league qualification pretty secure. But, 3 points will only paper over the cracks for a while.

Major repairs needed with the staff and the manager.

Ederson

Nunes
Diaz
Gvardiol
O'Reilly

Kova
Gonzales
Grealish
Ecceveri

Haaland
Marmoush

No KDB. No Foden. Seems only 5 minutes ago that they would have been the first names on the team sheet, but, there's no room for sentiment with KDB until the points are in the bag. Ecceveri showed more intent in 15 minutes yesterday than Doku and Savinho combined.

And, don't worry, I know that there's no chance of this selection starting.

More like forward tactics…..

Due to a significant impact injury - its not like he is Stones or Ake is it? They are perma crocks - Bobb has just been unlucky with this one off injury -

Can’t see how or why players like Akanji, Dias, Kev, Foden, Savinho, Bernie should be playing.

Maybe Kev because of sentiment but Tuesday isn’t the game for sentimentality. IMO anyway.

Foden’s drop off has been seismic, I don’t know which team would want him if we put him on the transfer list.
Assuming you are taking the Michael? Despite his drop off in form there would be plenty of suitors if he wanted to leave.
