Not sure that even Champions League qualification would cover up, or deflect from the alarming cracks of our season 'Mr HJ', but we definitely need for it to happen to maintain our prolonged presence in that competition ..... and to help attract quality players here.

I 100% agree - This year has seen not only certain players lose hunger but also form and that fear factor alarmingly - this is not as simple as just missing Rodri, as with having even more possession stats our ability to score has gone down dramatically. Add to that a softness by most of the defenders and it's a recipe for struggling. I think if you asked Pep he would just want this year to be over now. The World Club challenge has probably come at the worst time in some ways.

For me I think we just need to get into the top 4 by any means then how the club tackle the needed overhaul of the squad will tell us everything. If we enter 2026 with similar tactics & only a few changes it will be not great. I for one am hoping we will be ruthless with some of the squad. There is no room for sentiment at the top level.

Shitting ourselves about a home game to Bournemouth, that's where we're at. With all due respect to them, it's fucking embarrassing.

Hopefully there's a leader in that dressing room who can tell these cunts that they are highly paid professionals who need to pull their fucking socks up and put 2 proper shifts in.
