Surely if there were problem players we would look at who hasn’t been playing but really Grealish? Gonzalez? Khusanov?

I’m at a loss.

I do wonder if Pep is playing Kev full time to prove a point though.

I just don’t know but he shouldn’t be on 100% for every game. He was clearly tired halfway through that second half and started missing the most basic passes.

Whatever I don't think it's about coffee ;-) Bernie for me is not a shit stirrer but this is a strange statement and for what its worth I thought he was one of our better players.

Think there's a few players in our squad that think they've made it because they play for City, and perhaps aren't really putting in the work to continue to progress and have the desire to win trophies

The problem is, the players that fit that mould, have either gone in the last few years, or are coming to the end of their time here

Bernardo, Kev, Gundogan, Walker etc leaving is the right thing to do, but it's quite frightening to look at the lack of winning mentality without them, and the lack of experience and potential desire

The likes of Foden, Dias, Gvardiol, Haaland should be carrying that mantle, but I'm not convinced it's in their nature

First thing we should do in the summer is make Rodri club captain

My guess is that Pep has a strong bond with the players who've performed for him consistently over the years and have played a major role in his success.

Bernardo definitely falls into that category and even though he's talking a good game, he's played in the vast majority of our poor performances this season.
