Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

Definitely poor …. especially considering what’s going on with Scruffy Jim over in the west of the City.

Agreed mate. He’s the best chairman in the world imo and we are lucky to have him. He will be upset and dare I say embarrassed by this season and rival favs and the media reveling in our demise? Beware poking a born winner and his ego……

More disingenuous guff incoming. Spoon fed questions delivered almost apologetically by nodding dog Chris.

He’s betrayed fans with his off pitch decisions and so if his decisions regarding on field matters don’t improve it’s hard to see why fans shouldn’t be chucking meat pies at him in the directors box this time next year

I would suggest Khaldoon wait until the verdict on 115 is delivered before doing the usual stage managed tripe with his puppet Chris Bailey.

good thing is Mansour 100% not enjoying the display this season. bet many times he watched games on shady streams with ads popping up he was like wtf is this slow turgid football lacking energy, power to win 2nd balls or make runs and just passing between CBs etc. he will instruct Khaldoon and Soriano to sort it.

He could have started doing that earlier this season.

Our style of play isn’t changing for the last 2 games, regardless of what Mansour thinks and says to Khaldoon and Soriano.

I think Mansour and Khaldoon will be well aware that the prem is the most competitive league in the world, the very league we’ve dominated for years and achieved something that no other club in history has matched. No one can be happy with this season and we all want to see improvement next season. But I think Khaldoon will come across as sympathetic in the interview. We can expect to be the best team at all times but in reality that’s almost impossible to happen. I’m pretty sure Khaldoon has said something like this before.

We all like Khaldoon, but he needs to look at facts. The club and everything about it have become arrogant.

1. First of all, this year, football has moved on from Pep ball: pass, pass, pass, pass, PSG, Liverpool, and Bournemouth have shown what kind of football is now being played.

2. We have become arrogant in the transfer market, not signing players when the whole world could see the squad needed a refresh.

3. Someone needs to get rid of the whole stadium team; they have destroyed the soul of the club, chasing money instead of atmosphere. At the moment, we are building a stand that is meant to be a blue wall, it's going to be a white elephant of a stand instead of being our answer to the yellow wall. Look at Crystal Palace fans yesterday with their ultras, they supported and made a noise all through the game.

Look at our press release about the stand

"Rail seating, hospitality seating, a food hall, tickets ringfenced for younger fans, breakout spaces, religious rooms and alcohol-free areas"
The North Stand should be a vocal home end, we have fans going on about Kippax corner and the South Stand, but because of the set-up of the stadium, you cannot hear the fans another fuck up from our amazing stadium team.

4. Ferran Sariano has a new Disney World figure in Erling Haaland, but his tourist fans are not going to come to the stadium when we are not winning.

5. We have most successful time as a club but we still struggle to sell out our stadium

Bournemouth lol

Every season some dissatisfied blues point to (insert one of Bournemouth / Brighton / Brentford) and wax lyrical about their entertaining attacking football wishing we could be more like them. And every season when the dust settles, said teams are to be found languishing in mid table.

I agree strongly with your 3rd point and there is some truth to your 2nd point.

@Axel Freed thank you for the reply. done with class

We have got lucky we got an extra space to qualify which was unknown in January. We are currently 6th and lost a cup final to an inferior side, again. We play one of them players bought in January. Forgive me for not seeing the progress yet
Win our game in hand to mid table on the beach Bournemouth and we’re third

Will you see the progress then or even if we finish a highly respectable 3rd in a transitional season beset by injury problems will you still be determined not to see any progress

I would like Khaldoon to invite that BBC **** Roan to interview him. I think he'd rip him to shreds.
You’ve got a great idea here for a new thread which could in time develop into an enjoyable TV show.

I’ll go next …. I’d like to see Ian Herbert interview Khaldoon

Hopefully he comes out and tells it like it is - we've dropped the ball hugely on recruitment and even if we have unearthed a gem we wouldn't know it because most of them can't get a kick. The manager should be doing way better with the players at his disposal, the football has become turgid and honestly a bit hard to watch. But, we're going to fucking do something about it.

That, I would be happy to watch. Tepid soundbites aimed to placate? Keep em boss.

Would be nice if we get an honest assessment of the failures of both men's and women's team this season.

No I don’t. I won’t forget that super league fiasco and I don’t like how he has been silent in regards to the prices and season tickets as well as the protests.

He is there to make city profitable. That’s why he hired Soriano and co. He doesn’t care for the fans or the local community imo

The only reason Khaldoon hired Soriano was to get Guardiola.

And Khaldoon is there to make Mansour's investment more valuable. It's not just about profitability.

But yes, it would be interesting to know what actually happened with the ESL mess. Couldn't have been an easy decision made under time pressure.

If teams played against us like they did against Bournemouth then we'd win 38 out of 38 games.

Go and fuck off, you just a fucking bully. We are allowed to have our say, even Big Steve is saying it. @Centurions

It's ficking idiots like you that make people not want to come on this forum

Did Big Steve happen to mention Dortmunds Yellow wall or Spurs single tier by any chance?

Bore off.

Well no, it isn't progress to go from Champions to anything below, that isn't saying we have to win it every year, it is just simply not making progress going backwards is it. Throwing hypotheticals out there is pointless and something to review at the end of the season. Everyone said a cup and top 5 is ok after our season, which it would have been. That cup is now gone. On the beach Bournemouth, fucking hell, if they are on the beach where the fuck are Southampton.
