Agree, Kerkez would be amazing especially for the rumoured fee of around 50 mill. I just hope we have our business done early and not dicking around on a wild goose chase with Wirtz all summer

It seems we are working on things and Wesley looks like a talent, he`s still very much a wildcard to play in the premier league? The dippers are getting Frimpong who has won the Bundesliga and played champions league and a top class premier league proven player? All for £80m!

We obviously didnt want Frimpong and it was always rumoured that Kerkez wanted The vermin so there was probably no point in trying to convince him?
 
Seems odd that United are having a free go at Cunha ? is there anything I'm missing about him. Both Arsenal and Liverpool need attackers

Could be that one too. He was the same in Leipzig . United needs someone like him more though so they won’t try when they need any reinforcements they can get especially when giving up Antony, Sancho and Rashford this summer
 
It's no coincidence that Liverpool's transfers and ours have declined since they took our key backroom staff. The fact that they're strengthening the two areas that we are desperately lacking is laughable.

Not really. They are desperately lacking in those areas too. We obviously have other targets to them though.

Kerkez wants dippers because they've probably done the legwork for longer than we have. Same reason (or one of the main reasons) Arsenal got Rice. But also the same reason we got Haaland.

It's no surprise that a few recent signings from Txiki (ignoring January which were obviously Viana deals) were panicked and 'easy' on the player side - Nunes, Gundogan, Kovacic as examples - rather than players who were highly sought after.

To be fair, we've won a few leagues and a treble between them jumping ship and now...
 
We are just experiencing what Liverpool experienced when Fabinho and their midfield legs were gone. Luckily the market is full of quality, and to be honest Liverpool pulling away from Bellingham even though he rejected them was a good thing for them. Bellingham wouldn't have solved their defensive worries.

I completely forgot about the media trying to push Bellingham to choose Liverpool, it was nauseating.
