Was thinking earlier how big the drop off is currently with this squad. Now KDB is leaving, who out of this current squad could we describe as absolute elite? Rodri absolutely pre ACL, Haaland (that is being questioned a lot by many people), Foden if he can get back to last years form, Ruben maybe. Thats about it. The next David Silva, KDB, Yaya is nowhere to be seen. Sadly Wirtz was a big chance to set us up for the next 6/7 years and we've missed out again.

€150m for ‘world class potential’ is a bit steep.
Always felt we generally avoided the buying elite players, always been the sum of the parts of very good players (who got better within our set up).
See what we have come August before I sort out ‘board out’ placard.
 
Dani olmo?! Didn’t pep say that he need players who ain’t injured as often as the current ones? Or is that a bluff again like the „ we don’t have enough subs „ one back during corona?
What a joke. Cherki/ Simons should be the only options despite their personalities

I don’t get it…one source says we’ve pulled out because of the price tag, another claims Wirtz told us he’s chosen Bayern Munich. If that were true, why isn’t there any news of Liverpool pulling out? Doesn’t add up.

We still have Pep that could easily have had tipped the balance in out favour even with us not being in temporaily out of the Champions League. Chelsea didn't have a problem. I am disappointed that Wirtz isn't signing but I doubt Liverpool is the final destination.

Liverpool only enquired, they never offered a deal.

Its done mate. Time to grow a pair, move on and back the club

2. We tried but he obviously didn't want to come, so not much we can do about that. Not every player will choose us.

Oh i know, its just the frustration of missing out what is yet again our top target for the summer.

I am gonna say something now that might make me catch a bunch of pep believers here.

The players don’t care about Pep anymore. If I was a free flowing player and I see how restricted players are when playing under pep he wouldn’t be my first option
