Doku aiming to do what Martin Petrov was never allowed to.

He said after the game that the players made the decision on the field, i can't for the life of me imagine it wasn't discussed in the changing room or the travel home - nevermind in the training sessions today. Either way, you'd assume he has a view on it but he made it sound like he didn't have one because he's not spoken to them.
The press conference was before the training session.

I didn't find the pen. decision that odd. I never feel completely confident with Haaland taking pens. His record isn't that great. Marmoush has been strong at set-pieces.

It’s been a poor few days for us with the display against Palace following dropped points against Southampton and now we’ve decided not to go for KDB’s apparent successor in Wirtz. We can’t afford to make it any worse by dropping points tomorrow. We haven’t had many matches like this since we travelled to Swansea on the last day of Pellegrini’s reign.

No matter how we do it we just have to win this one. Bournemouth may, depending on the Brighton result, have an outside chance of UEFA conference football (if Chelsea win their final but finish 7th). There still should be no excuse. Bournemouth are very good away but we’ve done well against them at home.

They started like a train against us in the Cup but ran out of legs. They may try and conserve energy tomorrow and hope we’re fatigued after the cup final. They have a great record of scoring late goals so we’ll need to be sharp until the end of injury time.

We created enough chances at the weekend but we’ve done we need to start taking them. Let’s not have a disappointing farewell to KDB. Neds to be clinical and ruthless tomorrow.

Not confident, but nothing short of a win for me.

Surprisingly (to me anyway) there still appears to be tickets available for tomorrow. I’ve just had a notification that I can buy three additional tickets.

Is there still a protest going on or have the tourists and day trippers abandoned us already or maybe is it because a lot of real fans are fed up with the awful, boring football we have seen this season. It’s going to be interesting how the Club is going to sell an additional 6000 tickets once the North Stand extention is finished.

I couldn’t miss KDB’s last home game for us, it’s the end of an era.

It seems to be the same with every midweek game. I think it's very difficult for blues from London / SE to get to the game which means loads of seats flood the exchange and match-day fans can buy them up if they can afford the prices. I have seen some comments suggesting that they are a bit cheaper this time.

I am more interested in supporting City in a vital game than thanking KDB. IMO he should have effectively retired as Kyle Walker did.

To say this game is a 'must win' for City is an understatement, we have more less taken our seats in the 'last chance' saloon as regards next seasons Champions League, and we simply daren't make a 'cock up'' of this one ..... you can't rely on us getting a sausage at Fulham on Sunday, and you can't rely on Pep to put the right team out tomorrow night either, so whichever bunch of players he shoves to the front for this one had better make a real concerted effort on that pitch tomorrow night to WIN this game.... this is no time for shrinking violets, pussyfooting around making a million sideways and backwards passes, or worrying about any potential threat that Bournemouth may pose ... we need goals, we need three points, and we need that Champions League place!

So, best foot forward, and into battle we go !!!1000000388.jpg
