Can't begin to pick a team for tonight.

The momentum we had built has been completely lost.

Rushing players back to fill places in the team for the last 3 or 4 matches when we were doing well has been a disaster.

If we were doing poorly then fair enough, you would try anything to get things to click.

Presume Eddie will be back in net and this sums up our season.

1 in 1 out, no consistency, players unable to establish form.

Rotation works with quality players who are on it, we are rotating for the sake of it and swapping out of form players like for like.

God knows who starts tonight!

From an eight o'clock kick off I'd usually expect to be home just before midnight.

Tonight with the send off, players walking around the pitch and the speed City do these things along with parents picking kids up from Kylie and old rockers hanging about I'll be lucky to be home for 01.00, but it's fine Kev and worth it.

I'd no doubt not be as chilled if I had work in the morning though.
Or your last train is eleven and it’s a bus replacement. So for that reason I’m out at the final whistle.

Unusual situation of playing Bournemouth for the third time in a season. We were overpowered in midfield in the League encounter, with Semenyo, in particular, then causing us all manner of problems, but we looked more secure in the Cup tie, with Nunes and Khusanov adding some stability. That said, it was only really the introduction of O'Reilly that gave us the cutting edge. If they field Kerkez and Semenyo on their left, we are going to have to work hard to defend that side.

Spingsteen at the Co-op and Kylie at the Arena. How will Metrolink cope with the amount of people in town this evening.

Our game should finish at about 21:55 unless there are any serious injuries. By the time the Club has farted about setting up the Kevin farewell it will be gone 22:30 before those planning to stay get out of the stadium.

Utter chaos will ensue, sorry but I will be long gone.
We have had these predictions of travel chaos ever since the Co-op Live arena was mooted but they haven't happened. The Etihad Campus stop is on the Ashton-under-Lyne to Eccles/MediaCityUK Metrolink line which has a timetabled 12-minute frequency. Useful if you live on that line but most people do not. 5 trams per hour. 5 x 400 gives a capacity of around 2,000 people over an hour. it also means that only the first tram beats walkers back to Manchester City centre.

...............Gundogan......Kovacic

Bernardo................................Doku

Probably not even close. But we need a bit more pace and energy from somewhere, or just something different.

Bernardo will probably play from the right as I just don't see Pep going with Savinho again, and sadly Phil looks shot to bits.

I expect Haaland will start, but we not more from him, and someone to get the ball into dangerous areas. Sadly Kev looks just about the only one to do that, so he may start again. Although not sure what he has left in the tank after Sunday.

I wouldn't even mind seeing Dias swapped with Khusanov. Whatever happens, I don't want to see Dias and Akanji passing the ball to each other repeatedly and taking all bastard day to do it, and then absolutely nothing come of it.

Bournemouth on their day can be very difficult opponents to play but they are inconsistent. Bournemouth press all over the pitch, and don't typically defend the penalty area. Brighton's result means that they are likely to be set-up to play for the win because they have to take 6 points from their remaining 2 games to have any chance of European football. It's mot unrealistic because they have Leicester at home on the final weekend.

I think it will be an open game. It should suit Haaland.

To state the obvious, Haaland has 21 goals from 29 appearances. It would be a mistake not to play him (unless he's injured) in what is likely to be an open game.

Gonna be fairly embarrassing for us, one of our greatest players evers last home game

All our great players have played their last games at home at shit times. Yaya, Vinny and Zabba were all night games. Sergio was in front of only 10,000 fans due to covid and poor old David Silva had no fans at all, also down to covid. Tonight Kev says goodbye at yet another night game and the situation is made even worse for people wanting to get home after it by two concerts in town finishing around the same time, which will massively effect an already poor transport system.

Bit of a weird one for Bournemouth

To finish 8th and give them a chance of Europe, they need to win both games but they also need Chelsea to finish 7th or Newcastle to finish 6th (amongst other results going their way).... but by beating us, which they have to, they drastically reduce the chances of that scenario unfolding

Not checked out the odds but I can't see them having more than a 5% chance of qualifying for Europe

I am confident we will get the job done today. Our home form has been pretty good especially in big games recently. And Bournemouth dont really set up with a kryptonite low block formation

Seems more than likely he will start, but I genuinely wouldn't be bothered if he didn't. If he does, hopefully it will be the open game you mention, and he has the space to utilise his strengths.

As I've said before the fact that none of us can predict the lineup with any certainty is pretty damning.

Ederson
Dias Gvardiol
Haaland Marmoush

You'd think these t would be nailed on. But even with Gvardiol he might not play where he should.

The third player up front? The whole midfield trio?
The fullbacks?

Looking at the table which outcome suits the tv and media best going into the last fixtures I’d say a draw tonight, then 4 teams on 66 points, the sway to see 3 of villa,Newcastle Chelsea or forest especially make top 5 ahead of City will be of similar feel to the FA cup final when every man and his dog was wanting a palace win..I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we have another ref VAR incident tonight all about keeping the product relevant till the final whistle of the season..
