Looking at the table which outcome suits the tv and media best going into the last fixtures I’d say a draw tonight,then 4 teams on 66 points,the sway to see 3 of villa,Newcastle Chelsea or forest especially make top 5 ahead of City will be of similar feel to the FA cup final when every man and his dog was wanting a palace win..I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if we have another ref VAR incident tonight all about keeping the product relevant till the final whistle of the season..

Very weird feeling about tonight…
I was only a little disappointed at Wembley on Saturday, I told myself that we’ve been so lucky to visit the place 31 times and it was nice for a smaller team to win their first trophy after 120 years. I know we’ve won a few before 2011 but remember how that felt!
However, Saturday will feel a whole lot worse if we lose tonight. I wish we were comfortably clear in the top 5 to relax and give KDB the send off he deserves but we have to win first and foremost.

Anyway… we’re leaving at 3:30 (after work) for our usual 160 mile trip! Going to be a late one home tonight after the KDB celebrations. Usually get home around 2am after a night game, this could be 3 or 4. Fun day at work tomorrow!

I noticed that when Pep was asked about Rodri, in the last presser, he didn’t say he was waiting on the doctors like he has ever since he came back into training.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Rodri featured at some point but it could have been nothing!

Think it would be a mistake to play Rodri.

Firstly it suggests panic. The rest of you are shite so I'm bringing back our best player who hasn't played since November. We've already brought two players after lengthy lay offs and it's disrupted the team.

Secondly it puts huge pressure on Rodri himself.
