PL insisted we play tonight when the club requested a similar treatment afforded to Spurs to move the game.

No help given .
That’s because they’re in Europe though. They aren’t going to allow a date because The Boss is playing next door and the transport will be chaos. People either choose to stay for the goodbye or they don’t.

Accepted, but as the rags are likely to get all the favours going to make sure they get CL next season, did it really matter ?

And spurs being spurs ( admittedly having injury issues too ) will no doubt capitulate anyway.

Not surprising when we are suing the pants off them. They will be as obstructive as possible for many years because they are massively stupid.

City need to win tonight for it to be a great send off for Kev, if not I can see it being half empty when he comes back out. Sad but that seems to reflect the mood at present
The majority of people stayed for Zabba’s and Yaya’s send offs , Yayas was after a nothing game weeks after we had won the league

If we don’t see a repeat of that then it shows what a fickle , complacent and entitled set of supporters we’ve become

Probably the greatest we will ever see play for our club and people can’t be arsed to stay for 30 minutes

I’m hoping we are better than that

You’d have to be a particular fickle blue to clear off like a smacked-arse if we don’t win tonight.

Work, school or buses are all excuses tonight. If we had secured the league tonight then everyone would have stayed. We all know that.

Win, lose or draw tonight we have to give our greatest ever player, in my opinion, a fantastic send off. He’s been hugely involved in producing success like we used to dream about.

We probably won’t see his like again.
