You’d have to be a particular fickle blue to clear off like a smacked-arse if we don’t win tonight.

Work, school or buses are all excuses tonight. If we had secured the league tonight then everyone would have stayed. We all know that.

Win, lose or draw tonight we have to give our greatest ever player, in my opinion, a fantastic send off. He’s been hugely involved in producing success like we used to dream about.

We probably won’t see his like again.
Exactly that, what do people watch football for if not to be amazed by play of the very highest standard

He’s given us countless pieces of genius that every club in the world would have given their right arm to witness in the flesh …but he chose to play for us, for ten years

Legend isn’t a big enough word for him

People will talk about him for decades

Just give 30 mins of your time to say thanks Kev , you’ve been fucking brilliant

It'd be nice if the early leavers ("I have to go early, otherwise I lose two hours going home") decided to stay to join in the show of appreciation for one of the best players we've had since we were founded in 2008. But I can’t see it. The stadium will likely be between 25-33% empty. Which is a shame, but what can you do; keep the exits locked after the game? Handcuff everyone to their seat? Have snipers positioned on top of the spirals and the new hotel, to pick off the early leavers?

;-)

PL insisted we play tonight when the club requested a similar treatment afforded to Spurs to move the game.

No help given .
The reason were playing tonight (like Palace are) is that the Europa League Final is tomorrow and UEFA are very much against PL matches being played on the same night so as to not take eyes away, except for where no alternative (the odd rearranged fixture during the season)

Don't forget if we hadn't got to the Cup Final, this game would have been played at 7pm on Sunday night originally due to TV so all this would have been happening at 9pm on a Sunday night

Is this a joke ? You're leaving early but telling everyone else not too ?

Another classic case of delusional idiots at the club setting us up to fail.

No doubt all organised last couple of weeks when the delusional staff would have considered it guaranteed that there would be an FA Cup to carry round the pitch - with no realists there to remind everybody of the embarrassment of the Pellegrini send off farce.

No realists there to mention that half the stadium leaves early to catch trains or avoid being in a car park for an hour, and won’t have an option to hang around till 11pm.

No the delusional would be too concerned in setting up a snazzy light show and video to be worried about who will be still in the stadium !

Ok so shit times for both us and Palace so that the rags and spurs " epic battle of the fucking useless failures " can take pride of place.

Whatever - another crock of shit in order to feed the fuckwit followers and help their pathetic club(s) to a totally undeserved place in the CL.

Usual level of Temazepamitis from this moaning old woman.

No I think he's quoting the "usual phrase" early leavers use. He's not that daft.
Yes, I am. Just not in this case. Maybe!
My mistake, your quote indicated 'you' had to leave early :)
Reading my post again, I can see where you'd get that impression from. But I put quotation marks around it to indicate that that's what people might say to justify leaving early. If they have to go early because they have a last train to catch, I totally understand that, by the way.

Daft to do it after the game tonight, can guarantee it will be 50% empty. Myself and many people have just spent hundreds of pounds to watch one of the most pathetic city performances in years, not really in the mood to give anything back to the club at the minute. I'll be hanging about after the game, many other won't for sure

I think you're crazy. He's still one of our best players. Almost every single player has under performed consistently this season, Kev included. Going after him because he's 'old' is unfair. Foden has been monumentally worse than KDB this season, why not ship him out too

KDB is the kingpin of the team, and if he's below par, then others follow

Yes, all of the squad have been below par and it's been a struggle,
but KDB form and his legs are gone. They have been gone for a long time, if truth be told

I am Not picking on him or blaming him for the shit season, its just the right time, Pretty much like Walker, the drop off from the norm was fast and he got out in the winter

Well fuck them the mard arse cunts, they don't deserve our club, plus you need a kick up the arse too ! :)

if we dont win it will be about 30% full by the time game is over. add some delay to it, and some strange scenes Pep asking players back to applaud fans who wont even be there.
just bad planning.
