I'm in block 232, are the club going to let me hang my 5 X 3 Belgium flag over the edge of the second tier or will I get told to move it?

You are right about UEFA, but I doubt GMP would have entertained the idea of a city home game when thousands of pissed up rags will be in the city centre watching their game.
 
Not that I think Kev should be in the team tonight, but if he is, or is subbed on, it would be so sweet if he managed one of his blockbuster goals to seal or win the game.

What a way to go out !

Bang on, the ground would remain full if we were lifting the trophy. He’s done so much for us all and deserves a proper send off
 
Should bin the lasers off and do it pre match, would get everyone in early and the atmosphere rocking for the match, Kev doesn't deserve the awkward half full stadium it will be afterwards, even if we get the win lots of people simply can't stay for transport reasons given the time. Another head scratcher by the club. Hopefully Kev gets a great send off whatever happens he deserves it all time great player for City.

Have a read of all the other posts on this thread saying exactly the same. Post match presentation and lap of honour with a half empty ground and a day of ‘we don’t deserve players like KDB’ and ‘plastic’ in the media tomorrow.

The trouble is having it on a Tuesday night, pity we got to the cup final we could have played it last Sunday.
 
The holistic scenario would be Kev smashing in a late winner. The ground stays full and everyone stays to see the King off..

The realistic scenario is we go from side to side. Concede on the break. Lose the game, and Everyone fucks off at 87 minutes and Kev is left marauding around a half empty ground.
 
Bad timing by the club - should have been done after the West Ham game in May 2024.

The time to get rid of any player is when you think you might still be able to get another session out of them.

KdB deserves better than a very late night send off, on a night when the club is saying travel will be an issue and after a poor season and another cup final defeat. Just hoping we batter Bournemouth or could be more a wake than a send off.

Yes, all of the squad have been below par and it's been a struggle,
but KDB form and his legs are gone. They have been gone for a long time, if truth be told

His legs really aren't gone, I just don't understand why people think that. If he plays tonight, you watch him, he's the one that looks to lead the press, he's the one chasing down lost causes, he's the one urging others to do the same. Yes, he's not quite as fast as he used to be, but to say his legs are gone, nah.

Oh they have mate. What made him was that initial burst of pace and intensity and it's 100% gone. Strangely what also seems to have happened is his speed of thought has slowed. He seems to take an age to decide what he's going to do and then go and do it. That shot that Wharton wore on his head on Saturday - he had so much time and space but by the time he got the ball out of his feet and pulled the trigger it was too late.

They haven't completely gone but they gone to the point where he can't do what makes him great as often.

If you watch his crossing, it's still good but only when he's given time and space to do so. He doesn't have the legs to create that yard for a cross on his own anymore.
