Premier League 16th v 17th place playoff Final | Wed 21st May '25

Was thinking about this and the likes of forest pushing for champions league place, any English side getting Europa league football has a better chance of getting champions league football through this avenue than finishing top 4-5,the likes of forest, palace Fulham Bournemouth and Brighton should be thinking along these lines, just like the rags have done this season write off league position for guaranteed champions league..edit of course you don’t want to end up looking over your shoulder either regarding relegation places..

Otherwise known as the Europa League Final in some countries.

Wed 21st May
20:00 (BST) - Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United.

Winner gets a charity spot in the Champions League.

Loser (should be relegated) but I'll settle for financial ruin, well for one of them anyway.
We could have had a scenario of next seasons Champions League containing a team that had been relegated from that countries top flight this season just because they won UEFA's secondary competition. That would really devalue the standing of the UEFA's prized competition.

That thread title has made me chuckle.

C'mon.

We're all spurs fans now.

Glen hoddle
Darren Anderton
Jurgen Klinsmann
Gareth Bale

Let's go.
As an Arsenal fan I'm conflicted however will hold my nose and support Sp*rs as they'll just piss that CL money up the wall on overpriced shite players and a 'business venture' whereas for United it could be transformative. I'd like to keep the foot on United's neck whereas we can all trust Sp*rs to shoot themselves in their own foot given the opportunity.
