Trams tonight

Could be worse. Could be in the car park. Still not moved. Looking at the traffic outside the orange car park it is fairly flowing - in fact the road is empty but meanwhile sat here 31 minutes now and not moved 1 foot. EDIT make that 52 minutes and still to move 1 solitary foot. At least all the car park stewards have made it home now

Got the tram and am back in bed in stockport already, do have fast track mind which makes a world of difference.

They had closed off the left turn out of the car park because of concert goers walking up and then the concert goers were being directed towards the East stand for the tram
 
Hell of a crowd coming out that tonight, would not liked to have been in those car parks or taking the tram, but it was well organised and flown well for foot traffic

Christ there were some slow buggers walking back to town from out of that concert. Walk on the left guys, on the left, so I can whizz past you

They closed the roads off outside the blue car park for about 30 minutes afterwards to let all the City fans and concert goes walk up that way back to Manchester. They were forcing them that way, stating they couldn't go back towards the stadium, which would have helped.

Whoever is playing their fans have zero walking etiquette. Luckily they also have no idea about what roads to drive on apart from the main ones.

Once I got away from the ground roads were lovely and quiet.
 
The whole thing is an utter disgrace to be honest. The queue for the tram was all the way to where the Vincent Kompany statue is. The orange car park is like wacky racers, I have seen several full on fights in there this season because of how disorganised it is.

To put concerts on the same days as a game is two fingers up to the fans. No wonder lots leave on 80 mins and until they actually sort a proper exit strategy the ground will always be half empty come 90 mins. Those running the operations in and around the ground are clueless.

To be fair the concert was scheduled from way back. It's the football authorities who are to blame.

The concert was arranged months ago. The match was rescheduled due to us winning the FA Cup semi final.
